    Raiseboring equipment

    The Robbins 91RH is the latest addition to the Robbins low profile seriesthat brings the advantage of Raiseboring to more underground mine

    locations. Its modular design allows it to be disassembled into relativelysmall components for easy transport through smaller haulage ways, yetthe powerful hydraulic drive of the 91RH makes it ideal for large raisesup to 5.0 m (17 ft)

    Features

    Control system The Robbins raise drills apply the well-established and

    proven Atlas Copco Rig Control System(RCS) which adds

    reliability and user friendliness The components of the RCS are common and interchange-

    able

    The drill rig computer technology improves the drilling ac-

    curacy, equipment reliability and serviceability

    Integrated diagnostics and event logging system to assist in

    equipment maintenance

    The system prevents human errors by built in interlocks

    Standard functions include anti-jamming, auto makeup and

    gradual ramp up of power at the start of pilot drilling and

    reaming

    Trolley mounted operator panel with full-color display

    Drive system Hydraulic drive with variable speed and excellent torque

    limiting control.

    Dual hydraulic pumps for high machine availability.

    Derrick The hydraulic drive features variable speed and good torque

    limiting control. The well proven RCS system adds reliabil-

    ity and user friendliness. A gearbox incorporated in a barrel allows the drive train to

    be disassembled into smaller components without losing

    the preload of the main bearings. This saves time during

    maintenance & transportation.

    A simple in-line drive system provides balanced thrust loads

    to improve cutting action.

    A sliding fork worktable wrench in combination with the

    semi-automatic drivehead wrench eliminates the need to

    handle heavy wrenches.

    Rigid crosshead guide columns provide efficient torque

    reaction extending the service life of the thrust cylinders.
