1.0 SCOPE
This specification covers the minimum technical requirements for the supply of flexible jumpers to be installed on the B8 Platform Plant including, materials, tools, facilities, personnel and services required for the design, material procurement and certification, manufacturing, testing and preparation of the required documentation. Appendix 1 details the data sheet for the flexible jumpers.
2.0 Definitions and Abbreviations

4.0 General Design Requirements
The SHIPYARD CONTRACTOR/SUPPLIER’s extent of supply shall consist of the design, production of materials manufacture, drawings and data, assembly, painting, testing, inspection and all their sub-suppliers co-ordination, where applicable, in accordance with applicable codes and standards listed on the relevant data sheet and any additional requirements of this specification. The SHIPYARD CONTRACTOR/SUPPLIER shall submit all pertinent drawings, documents for the flexible jumpers in accordance to the Requirement Documentation Design Supply (RDDS). Where a SHIPYARD CONTRACTOR/SUPPLIER has not previously manufactured a specific product at the size, rating or material type he shall notify EMPLOYER/CONTRACTOR at the bid stage. The SUPPLIER shall also state the manufacturer and country of origin of all the components including their pressure containing material sub-suppliers during the bid stage.
5.0 Scope of Supply
As a minimum the following describes the scope of supply for the flexible jumpers.
Project management, engineering, material procurement, fabrication, material certification, factory acceptance testing, packing, assistance during installation procedure preparation, assistance during installation (if required), preparation of the documentation for the supply of static and dynamic Flexible Jumpers end flanged including appropriate end fittings, bolting, seal rings for installation and testing,
A static/quasi static and dynamic analysis shall be completed depending upon the application of the flexible jumpers including: material selection and chemical compatibility with the transported fluid and environmental conditions, stress analysis (taking into account functional loads, operating loads, environmental loads, installation loads, testing loads), relevant calculation reports and relevant analyses,
The Flexible Jumpers storage/transportation support and all the accessories needed for shipping the supplied items,
Provision of the documentation and material certification,
