October & November is fast approaching
and with it come so many wonderful
opportunities to increase your sales, and
recruiting. Be sure to fill your daily action
steps with these ideas to harvest a bountiful
fall 4th
Quarter business!
1 SALES are plentiful - at your Fall
Events/ Festivals/open houses, be certain
to:
A. Focus on holiday needs, ideas, tips &SAVINGS!!
B. Suggest holiday gifts for family & friends
C. Suggest gift baskets/gift certificates for
business/corporate gift giving
D. Promote open houses/ events for
November - home shows the first two
weeks, book shows/open houses for
Thanksgiving week
E. Promote a debt-free Christmas by joining
your team now!
F. Organize your Personal Shopper Servicecontacts - ask customers for their Christmas
Wish Lists of products, and then get their
spouse's contact info so you can help
spouses do their Christmas shopping.
2. Phoning is fun - as the weather cools,
you'll catch people at home, so get on the
phone:

A. Thank you calls - the day after each orderis delivered to customers to say thank you!
B. Check-in calls - each month call each
hostess (and guests if possible) to check in
on how they are doing with their products,
see what they need, ask how you can help
this month.
3. Bookings are bountiful - stay
productive with these actions:A. Focus on booking November 1-10 first,
then offer additional open dates in
NovemberB. Create "Thanksgiving Show-to-go"
booking bags with catalogs, order forms,
etc. for those who will be seeing family and
friends Thanksgiving Week and can do a
book show with them.
C. Invite October Customers to book catalog
or e-party to kick off 2012 by picking a date
in January.
4. Events are entertaining - boost your
productivity with these fall events:
A. Craft shows - plan to participate in fairs,women’s' expos, craft shows this fall to get
new bookings and recruit leads
B. Holiday Open House - host your own
open house to invite your guests and new
"faces" to shop.
C. Hostess Appreciation - plan a hostess
appreciation event (luncheon, tea, brunch,
etc.) to invite your 2011 Customers, say
thank you, and invite to be your first 2012
Special VIP Customers.
D. Holiday Hero/Men's Night - host a men'sshopping night to invite your customers'
husbands to shop for them for Christmas.
E. Career night - host a career night to invite
those interested to join now to earn income
for a debt-free Christmas.
