What Education is

A teacher believes all education proceeds by the participation of the individual

in the social consciousness of the race to become inheritor of the fundamental capital of civilization.

The Educational learning has two sides- Psychological and sociological.

Knowledge of social conditions of present state of civilization is necessary to interpret child’s powers..

What School is

School is a form of community life important in bringing the child to share the inherited sources of the race,

and use his own powers for social ends.

The school should take up and continue activities which the child is already familiar in the home.

It is where the social and moral activities were developed.

The Subject Matter of Education

A teacher believes that the social life or actual experiences of a child is the basis of a child’s growth.

School must make the child conscious of hi s social heritage and make him perform those fundamental

activities which makes what civilization what it is.

Education must be conceived as a continuing reconstruction of experience.

The Nature of Strategy

A teacher believes that the question of strategy is reducible to the order of development of a child’s powers and interest.

Actions, expressions,Gestures, movements, visuals or images

are vital aides of active, lively teaching –learning process.

Interests are the signs and symptoms of growing power.

School and the Social Progress

School as the most primary and most effective interest of social reform or progress.

Education is the most intimate union of Science and art conceivable in human experience

giving shape to human powers and shaping them to realities.

The teachers are engaged not only in giving training to individuals but in the formation of proper social life and growth..
