6.1 SCORING

The teacher can take the scoring proposed by SOLDAMATIC or to change the final mark (0%-

100%) depending on her/his own expert criteria.

Again, it is important for you to remember that Soldamatic works with 3 different levels to

facilitate the incorporation of the student in this new sector as happens, for example, in the video

games. We want the student to acquire all the welding skills little by little to make sure that, once he

or she gets the final certification, he or she is ready to face the industry demands.

- Beginner: 40% of tolerance regarding reality. In this level, all the help icons on-screen appear.

- Intermediate: 20% of tolerance regarding reality. In this level, all the help icons on-screen appear.

- Advanced: 20% tolerance regarding reality. In this level, there are NO help icons.

The students will get a PASS/FAIL score.

- PASS: every single parameter must have at least 80%. The obtained score will be the average of

all the parameters.

- FAIL: a fail score means that you have not achieved the 80% in ALL the parameters. The obtained

result will be the lower mark. For instance: imagine that you get 100% in almost all the

parameters, but you get a 50% in only one of them.

7. SETTINGS

- Synchronize: this option is used to synchronize all the contents you want with the E-Soldamatic

platform.

- Reset: it deletes all the custom content included in your Teacher Software. Please, make sure

before resetting your Teacher Software, this option will also delete all the official courses you

may have purchased and you will have to ask to the support service again to install them all

again (not to pay them again).

- Settings: use this option to change the unit system and/or the weld convention.
