Check List Pre-Event
Begin prep work 4-6 weeks
in advance
Secure production crew and
space/room for segment
Secure host for segment
and any additional on air
talent
Prepare draft script, social
posts, promotional images,
titles for on screen talent
Create list of links that can
be posted in comments
section during broadcast
Schedule at least two prep
calls with on screen talent
and production team
Prep on screen talent for
questions they may receive
Work with other brands for
cross posting opportunities

During Event
Arrive day before go live date
for walk through – schedule
two hours for set up
Day of schedule talent to
arrive 1-2 hours beforehand to
prep for session and practice
Set up a private unpublished
Facebook “test" page that
only your team has access to
No swivel chairs (once on
camera people will start
fidgeting in chair)
Start countdown clock 1 hour
beforehand
Once we go live push out
promotional tweet
Monitor comments and
engage throughout session
Wrap session when
comments slow down
Post-Event
Change Facebook copy so
viewers know it’s no longer
live
After the video has ended ask
speakers to help answer any
questions you weren’t able to
answer during the live video
and continue to monitor
Promote session on social
channel and put paid support
behind session
