    Here is a small collection of our statistics about Mori and from a Moriperspective. Browse through them for an understanding of Mori well-beingand development.

    Te ao mrama is a Mori concept relating to wisdom and understanding. Itderives from the myth in which Tne separated his Sky Father Ranginui and EarthMother Papatunuku to create te ao mrama or the world of light. This allowedTne and his brothers to grow and better understand the world around them.

    Statistics New Zealand has collected a substantial amount of informationrelating to Mori. For more details of the statistics, plus informative analysisof these data and other statistical information relevant to Mori, please visitour website:www.stats.govt.nz/maori.

    conversation in te reo. This was similar tothe result in 2001.
