    The Mortal Instruments Series:

    City of Ashes

    Blurb:

Amid the chaos of war, the Shadowhunters

must decide to fight with Vampires, Were-

    wolves and other Downworlders-or against

them. Meanwhile Jace and Clary have their own

decisions to make: should they pursue the love

    My Review:

Jace and Clary are forbidden to be together, Valentine is declaring war,

everything is chaotic. Clary is in Alicante, Idris, she is on a mission to help

her mother, Simon is dealing with the sacrifices and obligations of being aDownworlder and Jace is becoming more and more detached from every-

body. All the chaos all at once, then try adding in another character...

    meet Sebastian.

A new country with new problems to face, new characters to deal with,

hidden talents and at the core of all of this a forbidden love between the

best couple. Who will survive this rollercoaster of feelings and war, physi-

    cally and mentally?

    Quotes:

Dagger-sharp, funky and cool. Christopher Golden

    Lush and fun. Kirkus Reviews

Will Jocelyn wake up? Will they win the war, defeat Valentine? Will Jace

and Clary overcome the obstacles in the way of their love? Will Alec
