Cameron developed the TL and UM ram-type BOPs based on the highlysuccessful U BOP design to meet todays demand for reduced weight, lower height and easier maintenance. Cameron also makes the DLAnnular BOP which features a lightweight, low profile design available in single or double body styles.

TL BOPThe TL BOP integrates all of the design features of Camerons popular T and U BOPs into a lightweight unit. The TL offers side ram removal and other features which reduce maintenance and rig time.

Cameron offers the most comprehensive lineof rams and ram packers in the industry. Ourrams cover the full range of drilling require-ments including shearing high strength casingand drill collars. Cameron also offers a choiceof rams for variable bore sealing and hightemperature applications.

Cameron is known as a pioneer in variablebore sealing technology. The name variablebore ram (VBR) is synonymous with theCameron VBR. Cameron has now introducedthe second generation VBR, the VBR-II. Thisdesign offers even more packer life than theoriginal design. In addition, Cameron offersthe FlexPacker, FlexPacker-NR and the DualBore FlexPacker which provide sealing onspecific multiple bore sizes and fit into existingram blocks.

Cameron Elastomer TechnologyOne of the many ways to differentiateCameron drilling products from other manu-facturers is the elastomers used in criticalsealing areas such as ram packers and topseals.

Cameron drilling products exclusively usethe proprietary elastomers designed andmanufactured by Cameron Elastomer Tech-nology (CET), located in Katy, Texas. CETprovides engineered solutions to elastomericmaterial problems. For drilling applications,CET has developed CAMRAM, CAMRAM350, CAMULAR, CAMLAST andDUROCAM elastomer products to meet the rigorous demands of the oilfield.

These products, when used in Cameronram-type BOPs and annular BOPs, improveperformance, extend service life, reducedowntime and lower operating costs.

Collet ConnectorsAs drilling depths have increased, Cameron collet connectors haveevolved to address issues concerning higher internal and externalpressures, increasing applied bending and tension loads and extremeoperating conditions.

Cameron offers four collet connectors: Model 70 Collet Connector High Capacity (HC) Collet Connector Deepwater High Capacity (DWHC) Collet Connector HCH4 Collet Connector

The Model 70 is offered in sizes and pressure ratings for a wide varietyof applications. The HC is similar to the Model 70 but is designed to pro-vide greater preload to withstand higher separating forces. The DWHC isa high strength drilling and completion collet connector engineered forthe high loads encountered in ultra deepwater applications. The HCH4connector locks onto an H4 wellhead.

All Cameron connectors offer high strength and stiffness with a directload path through the connector and metal-to-metal sealing AX gasketson the collet end ensure seal integrity. Positively driven-open colletsegments during unlock ensure that no overpull is required to disconnect.A secondary unlock function is also included in each design.

AX and AX-AT Gaskets for Cameron Collet ConnectorsTwo metal-to-metal sealing systems are available for Cameron ColletConnectors the AX Gasket and the AX-AT Gasket.

The AX Gasket provides reliable sealing in the standard AX Gasketprep. AX gaskets are available with resilient back-up seals and areavailable to fit all connector sizes and working pressures.

The AX-AT Gasket is used in the AX-AT Gasket prep with two separate metal sealing surfaces. The AX-AT Gasket is designed with an extended lip which fits into the AX-AT prep to provide metal-to-metalprimary and back-up sealing. This secondary metal sealing option isimportant in HP/HT wells where elastomer contingency sealing may notbe acceptable; and for subsea applications to provide additional sealingfor damaged sealing preps. The AX-AT Gasket is available in 18-3/4"10,000 / 15,000 psi WP and is available in 316 Stainless Steel with othermaterials available on request. AX Gasket AX-AT Gasket

Cameron offers drilling riser systems which accommodate the stringentconditions encountered in deepwater drilling including high tension loads, multiple control lines, and the need to respond to changes in surfaceweather conditions. Riser sections are available in varying lengths, wallthicknesses, and with preps for buoyancy materials as required. AllCameron risers are supplied with integral choke and kill lines. Cameronhydraulic or manual running tools are available for risers utilizing eitherLoadKing or RF Riser Connectors.

LoadKing Riser SystemsThe LoadKing family of riser connectors is designed to meet the demandsof ultra deepwater drilling in water depths of 7000 ft (2134 m) or more.LoadKing Riser Connectors are available with tension ratings of 2.5 millionlb through 4.0 million lb. LoadKing Riser Connectors incorporate many ofthe features of the RF Riser Connector while holding the weight of theriser joints to less than two percent heavier than a comparably equippedRF Riser Joint.

RF Riser SystemsThe RF Riser Connector is designed to meet API 16R requirements withfewer components and higher capacity than other flanged riser con-nectors. It is designed to meet the needs of the drilling industry for adeepwater riser system that is less costly and quicker to operate thanconventional systems.
