Tax Deed Land Sale: Rusk County will accept payment for the purchase of the following described real estate subject to the following requirements: 1. Tax Deed Land Sale:

BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS

All bids must be submitted on a RUSK COUNTY LAND SALE BID SHEET. These bid sheets are availableon the county website at ruskcounty.org and from the Rusk County Clerk’s office, either by requesting themby mail or in person. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope. The sealed bid must have thefollowing information written on the outside of the envelope.

DEPOSIT

A deposit of 10% of each bid must accompany each bid. The 10% deposit MUST be in a form of a BANKMONEY ORDER or a CERTIFIED CHECK made payable to Rusk County.

DEED

The balance of the purchase price MUST be received by the County Clerk’s office within 30 days ofnotification. Payment MUST be in a form of a BANK MONEY ORDER or a CERTIFIED CHECK. Anadditional fee of $30.00 for recording the deed will be assessed. A Quit Claim Deed will be issued in thename of the signer or whomever that person designates the deed be made out.

RUSK COUNTY WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCESS OR BOUNDARIES OF THESEPROPERTIES.
