NME music scene – love for concerts, festivals and eventsReaders are passionate about music and as a result of their close relationship with the magazine content they are far more responsive to advertising. Whether they are more positively disposed towards brands that they see as supporting their favourite site or accessing advertising that they see as particularly relevant to them and their lifestyles they are 33% more likely than average to have taken action as a result of seeing an advertisement on the site. NME include up coming stars, the genre alternates, which is important research as it is something I am looking into. Using someone like Lady Gaga shows a passion for music, she loves and thrives at what she does, her style is incorporated in her musical life and she has the ability to wow the reader with costume, speech and an out of this world genre of music. punk rock/new diverse through the writing of Tony Parsons and Julie Burchill. An online version of NME, NME.COM, was launched in 1996. Today NME.COM has 5 million users per month.

BILLBOARD music scene – multiple genres Billboard.com is Billboard's consumer-facing internet arm, which attracts more than 4 million unique visitors each month in more than 100 countries. An ever-growing community of passionate music fans, Billboard.com’s readers relies on the site for music news, videos, charts and more. They use sexualized, modern photography and busy yet professional layouts to grab costumers. Inspiration followed for the Gaga edition, which shows her character, emphasizes the music background and enforces the type of genre/magazine I would like to produce. The fact that Billboard magazine engages a variety of readers due to use of many genres of music and types of artist is something that will be used as an influence when I design my own magazine, I want a more versatile audience and ideas.
