It sounds like a real party atmosphere. Candy Yes, it certainly is. Gerry Who goes to a Zumba class? I suppose it’s the young and the beautiful? Candy No, not at all. Everyone can join in. Zumba is for anyone who can stand up and dance. Gerry Well, not everyone can dance. I know I can’t dance. Candy Aw, come on. You don’t need any dance experience or skills. People of all ages, people of all shapes and sizes come to classes. Everyone has a lot of fun. Gerry Apart from all the fun, what are the health benefits of doing Zumba? Candy First of all, Zumba is a great cardio workout. Gerry Good for the heart, yes? Candy That’s right. Its main health benefit is strengthening the heart. It also strengthens the lungs, it increases energy, it helps reduce stress and it helps people sleep well. Gerry I suppose after all that dancing, people get tired. How else will Zumba help me improve my health? Candy Well, Zumba burns calories, so it helps you lose weight. That’s Zumba’s second big health benefit. You get slim and you stay slim with Zumba. And, last but not least, anyone who is feeling low won’t be feeling low for long.
