Patient walks-in to hospital

Front office or customer service executive attend the patient

Patient ask for particular department doctor or suggest the doctors name or front desk ask the patient ID and keep it

ready for check up

Front office, check the doctors availability and collect the

consultation charges.

Doctor diagnose the patient

Doctor prescribe the medicine and suggest next date of check

up or consultation.

Patient buy the medicine and check the flexibility of payment

options like Cash\ Card.

Patient makes the payment and collect the medical bill.

As per the next consultation date, hospital may send the reminder to patient (SMS/

telecal).

Patient walks-in to hospital

Doctor check the history or diagnose the patient

Check the room or bed availability. PRO/Admin team explain the daily room charges, collect the advance and admit

the patient.

Doctor will do the further investigation and treatment

After treatment, doctor suggest to discharge the patient and

prepare the discharge summary and billing team will prepare

the final bill

Patient check the flexibility of payment options like insurance

card, cash, credit card etc.

Patient makes the payment against the bill and get

discharged

Doctor suggest to admit the patient for further Investigation

As suggested by doctors patient walk-in to lab

Front office or customer service executive attend the

patient and collect the money for investigation

Patient gives the doctors prescription and bill copy to lab attender and get the test

done (in-house or outside lab)

Based on the result doctor prescribe the medicine

Patient collect the result from lab and consult the doctor

again.

The patient management includes capturing of complete and relevant patient information. It should automate the patient administration functions to have better and efficient patient care process. This includes inpatient, out patient registration and easy retrieval of medical records of patients.

Doctors availability check

Checking the doctors availability is the major requirement for the front office team. They may receive calls or enquiries from patients regarding the doctors availability and for scheduling the consultation.

Patient case history record

Should get the visibility about the patient records including thepatient's contact details, admission records, and consultation

history anddischarge details. This should even take care of package deals

for a patientat a fixed cost.

Reminders to patient

Consultation reminders need to send to patient on periodical basis,

through various modes like, telecal, SMS and email etc. .
