Jenny Taylor (Technical Director) is more than awed to be involved in, what has, so far, become her favorite adventure with DLO. Having worn most of the varying hats in a production, she is looking forward to her next adventure, directing DLO’s dinner theatre show, 9 to 5: the Musical, with her favorite cho-reographer, Jesse PP!Rachel Taylor (Vendor) This RENTer is back on stage for the 1st time in 16
years. I am happy to be using my voice again for something other than sing-ing in the shower. I am honored to be a part of this amazing COMMUNITY. Thanks to my landlords and neighbors for their support.Brittni Waites (Junkie) Originally from Houston, Texas, Brittni moved to Dan-
ville just under a year ago with her wife Michelle. She is a published author of two books, a photographer and loves various other forms of art not excluding singing, acting, and modeling. She is currently working on getting her bach-elors degree in photography from The Art Institute.Barb Whaling (Vendor) Barb is excited to return to the DLO family. She has

She appeared as Countess Charlotte Malcolm in A Little Night Music and Mrs. Sowerberry in Oliver. She is thrilled to have returned to her roots in Danville Light Opera after many years away. Her primary focus has been as a perfor-mance vocalist in a variety of venues and musical stylesMatt Woods (Homeless Man/Steve) has been a part of DLO for four years.
A resident of Danville, he has played violin for DLO pit orchestra, Danville Symphony Orchestra, and many community events. His interest in music be-gan at the age of 8, when he taught himself to play the piano and attended Cannon School Elementary where he joined Carol Hummer’s violin program. Music has been a longstanding and worthwhile hobby (going on 13 years) as he hopes to pursue a career in Engineering.

Suzy Smalley (Stage Manager/Junkie) Being on stage is where she loves spending her free time! But occasionally she works behind the scenes, and working with this AWESOME crew has been a great experience! Recently she was BETTY in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, her favorite role she has ever performed!
Belinda Smith (Music Director) considers it an honor to work with Jesse, Marty and this talented cast and crew. She is excited to be in another show with her daughter, Lauren! What a show. What a message. Thanks, Larry for your support. It’s all about love.
Lauren Smith (Pastor) is so excited to return to the DLO community with RENT. When she’s not on stage you can find her traveling around the world or teaching piano lessons in Lafayette, Indiana. Thanks to Mom and Dad for putting up with her crazy dreams of changing the world.

Cole Huber (Waiter/Squeegieman/Paul) is in his 5th DLO show. Past roles include Anthony (Sweeney Todd) & Curly (Oklahoma). Ever since he saw ReNT on Broadway in high school, it has been a dream of his to be in this show. Love goes out to his fiancée, Christina, who supports all of his theatre endeavors.
Victoria Hunt (Mimi Marquez) is a graduate of Danville High School, where she was involved in show choir, madrigals, jazz choir, and color guard. After graduation she attended and graduated from Danville Area Community Col-lege and performed with the DACC Players, in Hairspray and Stage Door.
Adam Johnson (Mark Cohen) can’t believe he is finally getting the chance to play his dream role! Adam hails from Carmel, IN and after graduating from the Indiana University-Jacobs School of Music this past May, Adam ac-cepted his first big-boy job as choral director at Danville High School. Adam wants to thank his entire cast and creative team for accepting him into their community. Cheers!
Nancy Keener (Mrs. Cohen/Police Officer) works out her theatre ad-diction with DLO, Red Mask, and the Station Theatre. She enjoys dental floss, quoting Penn Jillette in excess, and long status updates on the beach. Thanks to Jesse, Marty, and Belinda and, as always, thanks to Memphis for enduring scheduling irregularities during rehearsals.
Amy Kirts (Junkie) is thrilled to have joined the cast of ReNT and for this to be her first production with DLO. Music and theater are such passions in Amy’s life, and she looks forward to many more productions with DLO. Thank you Directors, cast, and crew for such an amazing journey!
Elizabeth Kistner (Alexi Darling) Elizabeth is excited to be a part of ReNT. Although this is her first time appearing on stage for a DLO production, Eliza-beth has done set work for past shows.
Marty Lindvahl (Music Director) a retired choral director from DHS, is wowed at the joy she is having connecting with former students. This has been an amazing group to work with and she is blessed to have been asked to be involved in this wonderful community.
Aaron Martin (Gordon/Mr. Jefferson/The Man) is excited to be in his third DLO production and in an all-time favorite one to boot! It’s hard for Aaron to describe his journey in the theater world in words, but he looks forward to doing more and more. Aaron loves to act and sing and is grateful for this opportunity to flex his acting muscles in these unusual roles. 15
