Tai-Chi Basics Tai-Chi Kung Traditional Forms Tai-Chi Chuan is a low impact gentle martial art. It is an evidence- based program known to control balance, reduce tension and moderate anxiety. The class is lead by a certified instructor who has trained for over 33 years. His coaching will astound you as you discover your true center! Shifu Nicanor Snow “Kampa” BIO (short version) Nicanor Snow has practiced traditional Chinese therapy for over 33 years. He is an Asian Bodywork Therapist, A.B.T. Physical Qigong Therapy and Energy Medicine practitioner. He is an instructor and coach of Tai-Chi Chuan, Qigong healing and meditation. In the spring of 1983, he began training in the ancient martial art of Tai-Chi Chuan with Master Gin Soon Chu alongside with his son Fong Chu. Mr. Snow is a certified instructor member of the Gin Soon Tai-Chi Chuan Federation U.S.A. He is certified by the A.O.B.T.A. American Organization of Bodywork Therapy of Asia, Oregon Research Institute “Moving for Better Balance” which is an affiliate of the New Hampshire Task Force. On September 26, 2016, along with his daughter Tara, Mr. Snow became a Yogi disciple at the Hridaya Hermitage. As a devotee he formally accepted his spiritual teacher - Bhagavan VaShi Baba with Sat Guru Sri Bushunda. Meditation is a mindfulness practice for expanding consciousness through relaxed state of enchanted bliss that helps you along with your day melting away tension, and anxiety. Qigong is an energy practice using specific hand and body movements and postures with breath control to enhance the sensitivity of Qi (energy) cultivation. It is highly beneficial for building endurance and for regulating the immune system. Be one of the billons of people who are benefiting from these ancient practices.

During the week you can attend any of the Council on Aging/ Senior Community Centers locations. You may join anytime individually or with friends ages 50-80 plus! All locations are drop-in bases. Programs can cost from $3 - $5 per class. You don’t need to feel you won’t fit in because new members are always dropping in.
