The Daly Report (Continued)

- Hinduism! Our team has started to invest time in

learning more about Hinduism and how to share

Christ. We frequently are visiting temples. We have

found that the # 1 way Hindus follow Jesus is through

miracles. Please pray for God to show his power to

Hindus.

- Pray for my team and I to be grounded in the truth

of Jesus and not believe the discouragement that the

enemy so easily sows in our hearts.

Merry Christmas!!

May the Lord encourage your hearts in his joy this

Christmas!

Jesus in the reason,

~Hannah :)

The Daly Report

"These stones are to

be a memorial to the

people of Israel forev-

er..." Joshua 4:7

Hello Treasured Possession of God!

In this email I want to walk down memory lane

to remind you and myself of what God has done this

year through your support of reaching unreached

people here in NYC and beyond! I studied the book

of Joshua earlier this year and if you're familiar with

the book, it is about God bringing his people into the

promise land. One particular story in the beginning is

that God takes the people through the Jordan river

and then tells them to build stones to remind the peo-

ple for generations to come of God's faithfulness! They

build a pile of stones to remind themselves of God's

goodness. As I studied the book, I noticed that three

other times (Josh 7:26, 8:39 & 10:27), large stone piles

are erected after key events happen. We need to be

in constant practice of reminding ourselves of what

God has done in our lives, so we have hope for our

future. Let's Remember:

- About 40 Discovery Bible studies with over 130 Inter-

national students took place (or are still taking place),

through our team in NYC.

- About 10 new believers were baptized from several

different nations; Nepal, Bangladesh, China, India

(picture above is of a student getting baptized over

Thanksgiving)

- God sent more workers to the harvest field. We now

have over 60 missionaries working in NYC amongst

unreached people (Luke 10:2).

- God provided me and my teammates with great

apartments to live in.

- God has daily provided for me financially.

- Pioneers (my missionary organization) sent out 130

church-planters around the world this year (me being

one of them).

- The gospel has been shared with many people, most

of them hearing the good news for the first time.

- God has opened up doors for me to teach exercise -

and sports activities to over 30 Pakistani women every

Saturday!

- We are starting to learn Hindi. Namaste! Prayer Requests:

- Language learning! We have started learning lan-

guage. Unfortunately our language teacher wasn't

able to continue teaching us. We have already in-

vested 30+ hours to learning and already are able to

talk and see God open doors. Please pray for another

language helper to be provided soon!

Hospitality Ministry Kathy Pavich and Suzette Waite have taken

charge of the Hospitality ministry and are looking for

volunteers. People are needed to make coffee, and

bring goodies such as cookies or breads for the fel-

lowship time in the MPR each Sunday 10:00-10:30 am.

They also need volunteers to clean up after the 10:30

service. If God is calling you to serve in this way

please talk to Kathy or Suzette or sign up on the minis-

try clipboard in the foyer.

Announcements being run again We have started running announcements

again on the screens in the sanctuary before and after

the 10:30 service. Please take time to look them over.

If you have an announcement

you would like to make in this

format please talk to Ted. All

inputs are need by Thursday the

week prior to when you need

the announcement run.

It’s Easter Cantata Time! The praise team is already preparing for our

Easter Celebration which will be on Sunday, April 5th.

The Cantata selected is called “Worthy is the Lamb”

by Sue Smith and Mason Brown. When it comes to a

Cantata, the more the merrier! We would like to invite

anyone with a heart and voice for the Lord to join the

Praise Team in this presentation. Please contact Ted

as soon as possible if Interested.

The Year In Review

(Continued from page 1)

May: “The Fruit of the Spirit” Sunday school class be-

gan. This was the first of several taught by Jan Hurst

and Suzette Waite.

June means VBS!!

This year we invited our kids to

become special agents and

join Agency D3. The teachers,

lead by Jacky Daly and

Rachela Fazio, got into the

spirt assuming the roles of Field

Agents with special code

names. A great time was had

by all and the Lord blessed us for our efforts.

July: Tahoe Community Church began a new out-

reach effort at The Farmers Market this year. The

goal was to man a table, pass out tracts, and talk to

as many people as possible about the Lord.

August 17: Annual

Church Baptism

We were pleased to Baptize

three individuals this year:

Cindy, Jacob, and Nicklaus

In September we started Two new Bible “studies. The

Sunday Morning Class dove into “Crazy Love” and

the Women’s morning group looked into Beth

Moore’s “Children of the Day.”

Church Website Update Completed After months of hard work, Jonathan completed the

update on our Church Website. The site was put in a

new, easier to use format and all the information

was updated. Thanks Jonathan!

Merry Christmas from the Stauffers! But the angel said to him,

"Fear not, for behold, I bring

you good news of great joy

which will be for all people; for

today in the city of David

there has been born to you a

Savior who is Christ the Lord." -

Luke 2:10-11

Thank you! We would like to express our gratitude to

each of you for your consistent prayer and support

this year. God has been good to us as he has lead us

through many blessings and trials this year. We know

that he works through prayer so thank you once

again! God is good.

- Ministry Opportunities

The past month was full of many ministry opportunities

as we prepared for celebration of the birth of Jesus!

1.) The Christmas Concert was an excellent oppor-

tunity to share the Christmas story to parents through

the songs of our students!

2.) Danielle organized an event called Christmas

Around the World in which elementary students got

to learn about Christmas traditions around the world

with the focus being on the Birth of our Savior. God

really worked through this event as I opened the

event with the telling of The Three Trees story that

shared the life of Christ and why celebrating his birth

is so important because of his death.

3.) Elementary Chapel skit, "What God Wants for

Christmas". All the teachers performed a play that

explained that what God wants for Christmas is for

you to surrender your life to Christ.

4.) Student Discipleship. Ryan has been meeting up

weekly with one young man for the purpose of disci-

pleship.

Praises and Prayer Requests

1.) We're home for Christmas! It has been such a

blessing to be renewed and to spend needed time

with family and friends this Christmas. Pray for contin-

ued rest and rejuvenation to be prepared to go back

January 1st, 2015! (Happy New Year!)

2.) Praise God for his direction as he leads us in next

steps and opens doors for further ministry. More on this

later when things are more finalized.

3.) Praise for Danielle being mostly recovered from

chikungunya. Pray for complete healing as there is still

some lingering joint pain.

4.) Praise for seeing God's hand and his grace in the

midst of trials.

5.) Pray for our school as we finish up everything

needed for accreditation

Not all Church

Milestones are hap-

py. In September

we said good by to

the Scudder Family

who moved to the

Bay Area after

many years of

faithful service to our Church, especially in music!!

September also brought the resignation of staff mem-

ber Rachela Fazio who submitted her resignation af-

ter almost 30 years of faithful service.

In September TCC also began a Bible study series

called “The Foundations.” We explored the con-

cepts of New Earth vs Old Earth and the literal inter-

pretation of the Book of Genesis. Pretty heavy stuff!

November brings Shoe boxes and

Thanksgiving meals!

The Shoebox Packing Team! The Inspiring Leader!

This year we exceeded out goal once again and

sent off over 350 shoebox missionaries!

The Food

Pantry’s

ing meal

involves

the entire

church.

Together

we provided meals to over 160 families in our com-

munity.

Participant Lineup with Pastor Paul Greeting

Receiving food with great appreciation!

Truck Loads of Turkeys and Hams were given out

In December we celebrated the birth of Jesus, our

Lord and Savior. On December 20th our “Awesome

Kids” presented a Christmas Pageant during the 10:30

service. It was well done and well received.

Wow what a year! And this was only the highlights!

This look back did not include a lot of our weekly ac-

tivities and bible studies.

One thing revealed to me while doing this article was

how much we were blessed by the Lord, through the

good times and the difficult.

Please be in prayer for all that will take place in 2015!

Happy new Year!
