NOTE 1: The higher frequency range applies in the cases of 80 MHz and 800 MHz.

NOTE 2: These guidelines may not apply in all cases. The propagation of electromagnetic waves is affected by absorption and reflection from buildings, objects and people.

The field strength of stationary transmitters, such as the base stations of cordless tele-phones and land mobile radio systems, amateur radio stations, AM/FM and television transmitters, cannot be determined theoretically in advance with precision. To establish the nature of the ELECTROMAGNETIC SURROUNDINGS in terms of stationary transmitters, a study of electromagnetic phenomena should be considered for the location. If the field strength measured at the location where the iMRS fauna is being is used exceeds the COM-PLIANCE LEVEL mentioned above, the iMRS fauna should be kept under observation in order to verify the FUNCTION for the intended use. If unusual performance characteristics are observed, additional measures could be necessary, e.g. a change in the orientation or a different location for the iMRS fauna.

The field strength should be less than 3V/m over the frequency range 150 kHz to 80 MHz.6) National footnote: User here is meant in the sense of „RESPONSIBLE ORGANISATION“.

Recommended safe distances between portable / mobile RF telecommunication devices and the iMRS faunaThe iMRS fauna is intended for operation in an ELECTROMAGNETIC ENVIRONMENT in which RF interference is controlled. The customer or the user of the iMRS fauna can help here in avoiding electromagnetic interference by keeping to the minimum distance between portable/mobile RF telecommunication devices (transmitters) and the iMRS fauna – dependent on the output power of the communication device as given below.

Nominal rating of the transmitter W

Safe distance (m) dependent on transmitter frequency

150 kHz to 80 MHz 80 MHz to 800 MHz 800 MHz to 2,5 GHz

0,01 0,12 0,12 0,23

0,1 0,38 0,38 0,73

1 1,2 1,2 2,3

10 3,8 3,8 7,3

100 12 12 23

For transmitters whose maximum nominal output is not given in the above table, the recom-mended safe distance «d» in meters (m) should be determined from the equation associated with the particular column, where «P» is the maximum nominal output of the transmitter in watts (W) according to information from the manufacturer.

NOTE 1: The higher frequency range applies at 80 MHz and 800 MHz. NOTE 2: These guidelines may not apply in all cases. The propagation of electromagnetic quanti-ties is affected by absorption and reflection from buildings, objects and people.

d = 1,2√P d = 1,2√P d = 2,3√P

3. Correct use

The Magnetic-Resonance-Stimulation-System iMRS fauna creates very low pulsating elec-tro-magnetic vibrations, which leads to a massaging effect on the designated areas. The measur-able strength of the applied pulsed electromagnetic vibrations are extremely low - on the same order of magnitude as the Earth’s magnetic field.Other uses and applications than those described in these instructions, especially the use of other application instruments, the use of other magnetic field strengths and use of other control units can damage the equipment and result in unintended physical effects and/or adverse reac-tions, and are therefore prohibited.

3.1. Intent of use of the iMRS faunaThe essential performance characteristic of the iMRS fauna is the generation of specified mag-netic field pulses and the reinforcement of the body›s own energy fields.

4. Possible applications

The Magnet-Resonance-Stimulation-System iMRS fauna can be used:• Prevention, regeneration and overall revitalization• Activation of metabolic and oxidative processes• Improvement of respiration• Increase in blood flow in the capillaries• Increase of the oxygen partial pressure in the tissue• Neovascularization• Improvement of lymphatic drainage and better detoxification• Speedier recovery• Painful stiff muscles• Strains, bruises and sprains • Correction of malformations and incorrect training methods• Increase of general well-being through relaxation effects

8. Installation

Remove all individual parts from the packaging. Remove the cable ties of area and leg applica-tors. Secure the area applicators with the help of both cords and loops (possibly cable ties or similar) individually to the right and left of the box stall allowing both blankets to freely suspend from the ceiling. The distance between both blankets should be at least 2 meters and no more than 5 meters. Secure leg applicators individually using the provided elastic straps. Please also make sure that your surroundings are as free from “electrosmog” as possible. This means there should be no equipment such as television, microwaves, mobile telephones etc. actively in use in the vicinity. Plug the jack plug of any applicator into one of the sockets (13, 14 and 15) on the rear of the control unit. The iMRS fauna automatically detects the connected applicator. Use only origi-nal accessories and when plugging the plugs into the sockets please check the firm connection between the jack and the socket.

Now connect the plug attachment of the power pack with the socket (12) and plug the power pack into a wall socket nearby (voltage 110 V - 240 V / 50 Hz - 60 Hz).

10. Area Applicator

The electro-magnetic vibration does not only work directly next to the area applicator, it exposes in all directions simultaneously. On the area applicator, the average peak field strength is less than 45 µT (micro Tesla) at the highest intensity level which is approximately equivalent to the Earth’s magnetic field. According to the preliminary standard DIN 0848, the recommended upper limit for 24-hours constant use is 400 µT. Vertically, the vibration of the magnetic field dissipates at a distance of approximately 8 ft / 2,5 m.

This application can only be used with the original area applicator. If no applicator has been connected or an applicator is defective, the display of the iMRS fauna signalizes a failure (Appli-cator not plugged, Applicator cable break). In both cases, you are unable to start the application.

11. Leg Applicator

The leg applicator can be used for local applications. The electro-magnetic vibration does not only work directly inside the leg applicator, it vibrates in all directions but prefers to radiate perpendicular to the plane of the leg applicator. At the highest intensity setting, the peak field strength of the leg applicator is about 70 µT (Micro Tesla). According to the preliminary standard for DIN 0848, the recommended upper limit for 24-hours constant use is 400 µT. Horizontally the vibration of the magnetic field dissipates almost completely at a distance of approximately 5 ft / 1.5 m.

If the leg applicator is used, the iMRS fauna automatically selects a fixed specified program for local application.

This application can only be used with the original leg applicator. If no applicator has been con-nected or an applicator is defective, the display of the iMRS fauna signalizes a failure (Applicator not plugged, Applicator cable break). In both cases, you are unable to start the application.

12. Probe Applicator (Optional)

The probe applicator, made of anodized metal, is used for localized applications of individual or smaller areas of the body. The magnetic field vibration from the probe applicator has a maximum peak average strength of approximately 300 µT and has dissipated at a distance of 5ft/1.5m in the direction of the probe applicator, it has dissipated virtually completely 3.2ft/1m from the probe at right angles to the probe applicator.

If the probe applicator is used, the iMRS fauna automatically selects a fixed specified program for local application.

This application can only be used with the original probe applicator. If no applicator has been connected or an applicator is defective, the display of the iMRS fauna signalizes a failure (Appli-cator not plugged, Applicator broken). In both cases, you are unable to start the application.

13. Application

13.1. Application using the Area ApplicatorConnect the area applicator to the control unit (13, 14 or 15). Switch the control unit on using the ON / OFF switch (4). The device is ready to be used once the initial boot process has been completed successfully. Choose the area applicator by pressing the button (5) on the membrane keyboard.

You can select an application period between 2 and 90 minutes in one minute steps using the time selection key (6).

Using the +/- keys for the intensity selection key (8) you can select the required intensity of the electro-magnetic vibration. The intensity of the electromagnetic vibration can be set to the levels 1 - 8.

selected applicator and the selected intensity. The polarity of the electro-magnetic vibration (21) and the organ clock (20) is displayed on the info level (24).

A short melody signalizes the end of the application. After the application period has finished the iMRS fauna automatically switches into stand-by mode. After remaining in stand-by mode for approx. 2-4 minutes, the iMRS fauna switches off automatically. IMPORTANT: The system can-not be switched off manually! To completely disconnect the device from the mains, the Plug-In Power Pack must be removed from the wall outlet.

The following rule applies:Without specific knowledge about the energy balance of the animal, it is recommended to begin the whole-body application with lower settings, such as intensity level 3 in the morning and intensity level 1 in the evening. This rule should only be changed without further examination if it can be assumed that animals have a high level of vitality, such as a younger horse with distinc-tive sports activities or for appropriate therapeutic reasons. Individual adjustments in parame-ters can be obtained from a certified representative of Swiss Bionic Solutions or a veterinarian with experience in the application of pulsed-electro-magnetic fields.

The whole-body application is characterized by both, a fast and immediate response as well as a balancing reaction that stretches over several hours (resonance effect). Generally, at least 2 applications per day are recommended - morning and evening, ideally 4x per day covering all organ-clock settings. More frequent full-body applications are not necessary due to the physio-logical regulatory processes and the associated resonance effects.

13.2. Local application using the Leg ApplicatorWe recommend the use of the leg applicator for local applications. Connect the leg applicator to the control unit (13, 14 or 15). Switch the control unit on usingthe ON / OFF switch (4). The device is ready to use once the initial boot has been completed successfully. Choose the leg applicator by pressing the button (5) on the membrane keyboard.

Using the +/- keys for the intensity selection key (8) you can select the required intensity of the electro-magnetic vibration. The intensity of the electromagnetic vibration can be set to the levels 1 - 8.

The organ clock will be automatically adjusted by the system clock of the iMRS fauna. You can manually overwrite the organ clock by pressing the designated +/- buttons for the manual organ

clock (10).

The application is started by pressing the Start / Stop key (9). The start of the application is signaled by a short melody. The display (1) indicates the remaining time of the application, the selected applicator and the selected intensity.

13.3. Local application using the probe applicator (optional)The probe applicator is not included with the standard iMRS fauna package, but can be pur-chased separately and used with the iMRS fauna. Certain points of the body can be applied specifically using the probe applicator.

The standard application duration of 10 minutes should be selected when applying a elec-tro-magnetic vibration by “covering” small parts of the body. However you can select the appli-cation period of 2 - 90 minutes with the designated button (6) on the membrane keyboard.

Using the +/- keys for the intensity selection key (8) you can select the required intensity of the electro-magnetic vibration. The intensity of the electromagnetic vibration can be set to the lev-els 1 - 8. With local applications, higher intensity levels can be quite useful.

To completely disconnect the device from the mains, the Plug-In Power Pack must be removed from the wall outlet.

14. Cleaning and caring for the system

Control unit:The control unit can be cleaned and disinfected using conventional cleaners for synthetic mate-rials or disinfectants which can be used for surfaces.

Applicators:The vinyl should be cleaned periodically in order to maintain its appearance and prevent buildup of dirt and contaminants. Any stain, spills or soiling should be cleaned up promptly to prevent the possibility of permanent staining. Use mild soap and water or products especially recommended for vinyl fabrics / artificial leather to clean and remove stains on the surface. Paints, corrosive or chemical cleaning agents and detergents, liquid xylene, acetone or MEK cause immediate damage and contribute to material deterioration. The use of such agents is the sole responsibility of the user. Never hose down or directly spray blankets and leg applicators with water! Applicators are NOT waterproof! Even the probe applicator should be cleaned or disinfected at regular intervals with mild disinfectants.
