The Higher Education Realities

Universities and colleges today have a responsibility beyond simply providing education. Research,

neutrality, developing tomorrow’s leaders, cultivating a breadth of learning...all these endeavors and

NIIT OVERVIEW

Established in 1981, Asia’s largest IT trainer, NIIT is known for many innovations in IT education.

Credited with having trained one-third of the computer literate Indians. It all started with a dream. A

dream to “Bring People and Computers Together Successfully”, in a way that would allow the world to

reap the benefits of IT education. The way to achieve that dream was to create a talent pool of bright
