SPECIFICATION FOR 5MVA, 33/11kV TRANSFORMER CONTROL &

RELAY PANELScope of Supply:

The scope of supply of 5MVA, 33/11kV Transformer control & relay Panel for 33kV

CPRI Substation is as follows:

  The panel shall be supplied in ready to install and use condition, duly wiredfor 5MVA, 33/11kV Transformer Operation & Protection. The essential bill of 

materials but not limited to same as per the enclosed Annexure I.

  The dimensions of the panel to be supplied shall be exactly as per the enclosed

drawing viz. PR3-1071 Sheet#3 and PR3-1071 Sheet#5 enclosed. The new

panel is to lineup along with the existing panels A 01 to A 04 and erected by

the side of existing panel A 04.

  The front side view of the panel to be supplied shall be as per the enclosed

drawing PR3-1071 Sheet 3. “Panel A 01”- giving the mimic line diagram.

  The panel shall be folded sheet steel, bolted construction. The sheet thickness

shall be as follows:

Front 14SWG (2.0mm)

Sides 16SWG (1.6mm)

Doors 16SWG (1.6mm)

Top Sheet 16SWG (1.6mm)

Internal Device 16SWG (1.6mm)

Bottom sheet 16SWG (1.6mm)

Apparatus cover 12SWG (2.5mm)

Final Finish:

Pale Lilac

Shade 1-016/SP 1650

Interior: Glossy White

Base Frame: Glossy Black 

2 coats of final finish

Degree of protection

For the panel: IP 41 as per IS 2147

All control cable glands plates shall be fitted with neoprene Gasket.

Single flush door shall be provided at rear of panel and shall be fitted with gaskets.

The panel shall be provided with downloadable type Digital Tri-Vector Meter along

with the software for downloading.

At present ER 300 type L&T make Tri-Vector meter are installed on the other panels

for the purpose of Monitoring and downloading the Energy details.

The wiring diagram of the existing Panel is enclosed for reference only.
