If you haven’t had previous experience with pregnancy, birth, or hypnotherapy,that’s okay, as our comprehensive training offers all components to ensure thatyou are confident and competent in all areas of teaching the program.

The certification course includes 3 components with assessments (112 hours):A Four-Day Training (32 hours) with Introduction to Hypnosis for Birthing(component 1) and the Educator Certification (component 2).A Home Study of Introduction to Birthing Basics – Physiology of Birth(component 3).

Assessments including a case study are submitted for certification.

At the training you will receive:

All of our Educators complete an extensive training with the Institute’sexperienced Faculty trainers. Our Educator trainings are usually face to face.During COVID the trainings are available online.

In this introductory course, students are given acomprehensive overview of the exciting field of birthhypnosis. This fun, fast-paced, and informative trainingcovers the mechanics of hypnosis and gives hand-onpractice to equip you to competently work withHypnoBirthing® couples using hypnosis for birthing. Thiscomponent is part (1.5-days) of the 4-day training and is arequired component.

3 Components to the Training

This dynamic and interactive training provides you with asolid understanding of the HypnoBirthing® philosophy,techniques, and course material. Once completed, you willbe ready to confidently work with couples teaching the 5-session program, and you will have all the steps to startyour business. You will receive the HypnoBirthing® Book,MP3’s, Videos, the Syllabus with scripts and class outlines,as well as all resources you need to teach. Thiscomponent is part (2.5-days) of the 4-day training.

If you don’t have prior training in Physiology of Birth (arenot a midwife, doula, or obstetrician), you will be requiredto complete this component. This component gives you acomprehensive overview of the physiology of birth. Youwill receive the syllabus, 6 hours of video, and a textbookto study. This component is completed as a home study.

Each component of the training you complete has itsown assessment. We see these assessments as anextension of the learning process, so that we are surethat when you are certified, you feel confident andcan competently teach the program, philosophy, andtechniques.

Each Faculty Trainer facilitates a review webinarfollowing the training to further support you incompletion of the assessments, case study, and alsoto outline the next steps in your HypnoBirthingjourney. You will be well supported every step of theway.
