1. %ourse Information

A stud of the law on international human rights and humanitarian law' in$luding a stud of their nature' (hiloso(h'(rin$i(les' (rote$tion me$hanisms and )uris(ruden$e. 2. %lass (ro$ess*

The $lass shall +e $ondu$ted in an inter!a$ti,e manner with the aim of enhan$ing student understanding of the assignedreadings' (arti$ularl relating to fundamental (rin$i(les' do$trines and rules go,erning human rights and humanitarian law.-tudents are e(e$ted to read the $ases in the original and will not +e allowed to read from their gadgets during re$itations.

A /ui might start the $lass from time to time and will form (art of the re$itation grade.

The(a(er should not +e less than 7'000 words' not more than 10'000 words' e$luding footnotes.

The final eamination will +e determined (rimaril + a $losed!+oo' two!hour eamination +ased on the le$tures' $lassdis$ussions' and all assigned material' whether dis$ussed in $lass or not.
