The primary focus will be the evolution of the human community, how they lived, survived, adapted, fought, and the culture that each community created. This is the story of humanity! World History will serve as your 10 th grade social studies course. Our goal this year is to use historians’ skills to analyze historical events and our present-day society. My hope is that you will use the information you learn in this class to deepen your understanding of our world and yourself as recent addition to the narrative of human history. Also, throughout this course we will try to cultivate knowledge and skills that will allow you to be successful in college. Late & make-up work It is critical that you are in class and on time. If this is a issue parents and administrators will be contacted. Hall Passes: You will be given two hall passes per semester for going to the bathroom, drinking fountain, or your locker. It is your responsibility to keep these passes. If you want to leave the classroom you must present me with your pass.
