Sylast lubricants for lick roll application have been optimized to wet the lick roll with a uniform thin layer. When the thread comes into contact with this layer, the lubricant is transferred to the thread and spread out forming a homogeneous film on the surface of the thread.

Sylast series range includes lubricants that are formulated to give optimum performance in dosing pump application. They fully cover the thread forming a uniform lubricant film. SmoothnessNormal lubricants often create a non-homogeneous layer, resulting in

insufficient smoothness of the thread. With Sylast Series you get a

homogeneous lubrication. Regardless of whether you use the exhaust process,

a kiss-roll or dosing pump, the lubrication result in perfect in all respects.

Antistatic Properties

Without antistatic agents, a very high static charge builds up on

thread during sewing. Threads do not run smoothly, and this

inevitably results in poor sewing & poor seam quality.

Friction and heat protectionStandard lubricants hardly reduce friction on thread, & they are a significant factor in needle overheating without heat protection, sewing thread made of synthetic fiber will melt. This weakens the thread, leading to crust formation at needle. The result is thread breakage and limits on stitch frequency. Sewing thread treated with Sylast lubricant glides smoothly into the fabric. It provides heat protection for threads made of synthetic fiber. With Sylast you can sew at high speeds without the risk of thread breakage.

Sylast-BA: Is developed as a specialty product for exhaust application as yarn lubrication. Sylast BA confers to the knitting yarns the gliding properties required for further processing. The product is applied in a fresh bath after bleaching or dyeing of the yarns

Sylast-OVG: Lubricant for all kind of sewing threads & embroidery yarns. Excellent sewing performances, good antistatic properties, high exhaustion rate, minimum waste of water-maximum economy.

Sylast-GT: Is developed as a combination of softeners & smoothing agents. Its range of application extends from top back-washing or dyeing machine to yarn & piece good finishing. It reduces fiber-to-fiber & fiber-to-metal friction. Avoid sewing damage to tailored goods. Softener for re-beaming of indigo dyed yarns.

Sylast FRS: Wet waxing of knitting, warp-knitting and weaving yarns.Universal in use for all types of fibres; especially for textured PES yarns.

Sylast-AWI: Wet waxing agent to impart good gliding properties to yarns preferably from cellulose, cellulose/synthetics, PA, PES as well as from PAN and WO.

Profinish-YX: A proprietary blend of waxes & speciality modified fatty amidederivatives that has been specially designed to give good lubrication and soft handle on yarns.

Profinish-NPF: Wet waxing and softening agent For the finishing of yarns made of synthetic fibres, wool and blends of these; also suitable for cellulosic fibres. Low concentrations give extremely smooth yarns. High yield from long liquors. Good abrasion resistance & antistatic properties.

Profinish-LAN: Cationic dispersion of waxes & softeners. Lubricant for 100% cotton sewing threads. Lubricant free of silicone.

Profinish-210: Process bath lubricant for cotton, especially for cationic after treated yarns, very good gliding values.

Profinish-OE: Softening agent to improve sewability. For cellulosic's, wool and blends of these fibres with synthetics. Improves sewability, especially of open-end yarns. Improves the elasticity of knitted fabrics. Extremely smooth, silky handle. Suitable for jet application. Low foaming
