Page 10: syirik

Definition As Shirk

• Literally, it means the establishment of "partners" placed beside God

• Technically it means the sin of practicing admiration or dualism, the deification or worship of anyone or anything other than the singular God

Page 11: syirik

Idolatry is truly a tremendous wrong , so return to him and repentance (Luqman31:13)

In Prophet SAW other word, he also insisted on the dangers of this Shirk are:

"From the narrator mentions that the Messenger of Allah said about the worst sin are believe other than Allah, disobey parents, kill people and giving false testimony of hadis."- (Hadith narrated by Muslim)

Type Of As Shirk

As Shirk KhafiAs Shirk Jali

Page 13: syirik

Shirk Jali

• Shirk Jali is the greater shirk that means open dualism. Muhammad describes major shirk in two forms

• ~To associate anyone with Allah Taala as His part (to believe in more than one god).

• ~To associate Allah's attributes with someone else. (Attributing, considering, or portraying God's knowledge or might to being those of anyone else)

Page 14: syirik

Type Of Shirk Jali

• Rububiyah This category of shirk refers to either the belief that others share God's Lordship over creation as His equal or near equal, or to the belief that there exists no Lord over creation at all

• Al-Asma was SifatShirk in this category includes both the non-believer practices of giving God the attributes of his creation as well as the act of giving created beings God's names and attributes

• Al ibadahIn this category of shirk, acts of worship are directed to others and not to Allah and the reward for worship is sought from the creation instead of the Creator

Page 15: syirik

Shrik Khafi• Syirik Khafi means hidden dualism. A person

commits hidden dualism when he says tawhid (there is no god except Allah) but his thoughts and actions do not reflect his belief.

• For example is ~Riak~arrogance~self-delusion~show off

AR-RIDDAH: Apostasy

Page 17: syirik

Definition Ar Riddah

• Al-Riddah means rejection of the religion of Islam in favor of any other religion either through an action or through words of mouth

• Rejection of the belief in the Qur'an as the Book of Allah or the belief of the message contained in it, or the belief in the Day of Resurrection, or Reward and the Punishment of Allah will all amount to apostasy.

Page 18: syirik

Hadd Of Ar Riddah

• It is reported by Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) said: "Whos ever changes his religion (from Islam to anything else), bring end to his life.''

• The Qur'an says:"Anyone who after accepting Faith in Allah, utters Unbelief, except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith; but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is wrath from Allah and theirs will be a dreadful penalty."

Page 19: syirik

Apostasy in the Qur'an

Apostasy is mentioned in the Qur'an in thirteen verses contained in different surah, but in none of these verses can one find any mention of punishment to be carried out in this world.

Conclusion

• As a Muslim we should believe that’s only Allah is the oneness of God. We must remembered that paradise is the abode of those who believe the certainty in Allah and the hereafter and than srive with all due striving in the way of Allah. The end of those who worship Allah right on the fringe of true faith and place their trivial interest on the same footing as the pleasure of Allah is described thus in the Quran:

Amount the people they are some who profess to serve Allah but who stand on the very fringe of good faith. If good befalls them, they are content, but if an ordeal befalls them, they revert to their former ways, losing both this world and the hereafter. Thats way true perdition lies. (surah Al-Hajj:11)
