Your Path to Success
At Swiss School of Management, however, fundamentals are
only the beginning. Excellent management skills are learnt more
by experience and observation than in the classroom, which is
why you will have many opportunities to interact with and to
learn from experienced and successful business leaders in the
country. You will learn to approach problems with creativity and
disciplined thought. You will also benefit from the diverse
perspectives of colleagues who hail from around the globe.
Who we are?
At Swiss School of Management, we firmly
believe in a practical approach to enter the
ever changing business world. The school’s
special atmosphere is generated from a blend
of dedicated and caring faculty, a small but
selected international student body, and a
sound academic program designated to
prepare students to lead the world of business
and meet the challenges of the future. If your
passion is to lead organizations to impact the
world in significant and meaningful ways, we
want to hear from you.
I welcome your interest in management

The vision of Swiss School of Management is “To be recognized
as the Swiss International Business School, nurturing talent and
teaching the typical Swiss – way of behaviour and attitude in a
multi-national, multi-cultural learning environment. It will be a
place of opportunity for those who seek knowledge, strive
towards excellence and seek a better life for themselves and
their fellow citizens.”
What we are doing…Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a Swiss Quality Education in an
environment characterized by close interaction among
students, faculty, staff and the global business community.
We provide our students with practical knowledge, skills and
attributes - the global business competencies required for
leadership and success in demanding careers in the global

Awakening Interest & Enthusiasm…Our Teaching Methodology
In teaching it is the method and not the content that is the
message. At Swiss School of Management, you’ll benefit from a
range of teaching methods all geared towards awakening
interest and kindle enthusiasm. We believe that this is the sure
way to impact knowledge easily and successfully.
All of us do not have equal talent, but all of us should have an equal
opportunity to develop our talent. At Swiss School of Management,
we employ learning approaches on various levels within different
fields of study aimed not only at providing academic knowledge,
but also holistic personal development of our students.
Through our teaching methods, we strive to help our students
develop their personalities as managers or entrepreneurs.
To this end, further qualifications are required, such as:
charisma, leadership capabilities, decision making courage,
knowledge of the human mind and its nature, motivation,
intuition, business ethics, and the fluent mastery of additional
languages besides English.
Our Vision and Mission
pg. 4
Swiss School of Management helps students develop these human
qualities with the intent to bring out their best personality
resources by using the best and most creative learning and
teaching methodologies. Practical appliance and network-building
are also emphasized. Our range of teaching methods includes-
theoretical review, class discussion, case study, simulation, real
time problem solving session, role play and group assignments.
A Journey of DiscoveryLanguages
A new language opens up a whole new culture. A foreign
language gives us access to another culture, and our lives take on
a new dimension. The great German poet, Johann Wolfgang von
Goethe, said in 1827: "Whoever is not acquainted with foreign
languages knows nothing of his own." Seen like that, learning a
language is almost comparable to a journey of discovery.
Switzerland has four official languages: German, Italian, French
and Romanch. At Swiss School of Management, we offer you the
opportunity to learn two of these; German and Italian, while
acquiring more security in English, our language of instruction.
Small is BeautifulWhy Swiss Education?
Switzerland’s reputation of excellence is due to a highly qualified
labour force performing highly skilled work. The main areas
include micro technology, hi-tech, biotechnology and
pharmaceuticals, as well as banking, hospitality and insurance
know-how. This ongoing striving for excellence and perfection, has
catapulted this small country to become a global player.
Switzerland is regarded as one of the safest and cleanest
countries in the world. It is ideally located in the heart of Europe
with access to all major European cosmopolitan cities. Swiss
School of Management’s mission is to represent these values of
Switzerland and carry them out into the world.
At SSM, I found more than just a business school. As a participant, you will immediately be involved and become part of the academy'soperations to sustain quality and community. At the same time, youenjoy the diversity of culture within the student body.

The Eternal City ROME
It's hard to say what you'll find most breathtaking about
the eternal city - the arrogant opulence of the Vatican,
the timelessness of the Forum, the top speed of a Fiat Bambino,
the millions of cats in the Colosseum, trying to cross a major
intersection, or the bill for your latte.
However, Swiss School of Management has chosen this city with
its strong historical background to carry out its global expansion.
A Small yet Big CommunityStudent Life
Your educational path through Swiss School of Management will
be a memorable life changing experience. Your life and learning
within and beyond the classroom will be a truly wonderful
experience. It will be enriching, exciting, fun, magical and
priceless. You will have the opportunity to explore the world, learn
more about yourself and develop close ties with other people. The
experience will help shape and refine your personality.
Swiss School of Management is big enough to offer you the
prospects to realize your dreams, but also we are small enough to
keep close in touch with you, in order to know how you get along,
and offer support with every progressive step you make towards
realization of your dreams.
We are simply a small big community. There are no other words to
describe this unique environment within Swiss School of
Management.

Becoming part of Swiss School of ManagementWhat we look for in you
Swiss School of Management has high academic standards and
seeks to maintain these standards by recruiting high calibre
students. In deciding which candidates should be offered a place,
we look for evidence of academic knowledge and ability in aspects
of English Literature, Mathematics and Social Sciences that are
relevant to business studies, and interest in the subject of business
and management.
Entry is competitive, and we do our best to make offers to the
applicants who are the closest match to our selection criteria on
the basis of all the information available to us. This includes
mitigating circumstances relating to exam results, educational
history and any other factors affecting a candidate’s performance.
I never thought that I could ever come to Europe to do my Bachelor Degree in BusinessAdministration. People from my country usually don't get easily an entry visa for Italy.SSM has a reputation of a very serious institution at the Italian Embassies around theglobe. My visa got processed within a short time. SSM also arranged accommodation, health insurance, a bank account and very quickly I got my stay permit. Today I can'twait to finish my program, to start applying for a good job.
