    Executive summary

THE POPULARITY OF TUTORIAL SERRVICES is the title of our survey aimed at

analyzing the popularity of the tutorial among students specially class 10 and 12th.Our survey commented on 20th March 2012, when we first visited DAV PUBLIC

SCHOOL (POKHRIPUT) and by the sincere help and co-operation of the students

and faculties we have got valuable information regarding this topic and this is not

the end we have gone to PADHEES TUTORIAL and IBOOKS also in order to collect

    the information regarding this topic.

In this busy crowd of Bhubaneswar bringing out the out the real picture of anything

is a real problem and if it is about stopping students and asking questions to them.

Luckily with the cooperation & hard work of every individual in the group we were

able to come up with it. Our focus was to interact with the students who were

studying in tutorials. Our team, where ever they visited very frankly enquired about

various vital factors why the students were interested in tutorial. Eventually there

were lots of problem in the beginning, but fortunately we use to overcome that

because of the high determination & unity in the groups. Our survey ended on 23 rd

March 2012. We believe that the information we derived after analyzing the 150

questionnaires filled by the students helped us drag the exact information that we

were actually looking for. Hence our goal has been achieved.

    INTRODUCTION

This research project is based on survey which has been done between periods of

20th March to 27th March to know the popularity of tutorials among students. We

visited DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, PADHHES TUTORIAL and I-BOOKS to analyze

different perception, taste and preferences regarding the tutorial in which they are

studying. We have analyzed the fact that the popularity of tutorials is increasing day

by day among students. Students are getting more and more dependent upon

    tutorials.

Today, coaching classes have become ubiquitous in the lives of city students. It is

impossible to imagine students lives without them. They are simultaneously a

compulsion, and at the same time criticized a lot for spoiling education, students

lives, standard of schools etc. Due to almost all students attending coaching classes

in cities, the interest of school teachers to impart knowledge to students has now

    started dipping gradually.

survey we have analyzed the importance of tutorials in the lives of the students.

From this survey we have find out that gone are the days when school teaching was

regarded as efficient and more than enough for gathering of knowledge. But now a

day school teaching is not efficient. The students and specially the guardians are

very much concerned about results. Not only that as the world is changing andbecoming very fast the mode of thinking of guardians also changing, everybody

wants their child to score above 90% for a better future. Thats why the importance

of tutorial is increasing day by day.

    Scope

It is mention worthy that the importance of tutorial is increasing day by day, so our

study has got a wider scope. We have conducted our survey on various grounds

other than normal teaching. As importance of tutorial is increasing and it forms a

deep impact on lives of the students so we believe that the tutorial will have to go

beyond the normal teaching to make the lives and the carrier of the students

constructive. As the tutorial business is increasing day by day, so our survey reportwill form an effective base to those who wants to enter into this business.

    Limitation

A number of setbacks have been experiment which has been

    discussed below.

Time constraint- Only 4-5 days was given for data collection. The respondents were reluctant to answer the questions. Some respondents were not interactive. Only initiative of 150 students was taken into consideration.
