When meeting a client for the first time: 1. Timeliness: When meeting with a new client, you should be there on time. 2. Presentation: Make sure you are presentable and neat. As a Supworker you are to give an introduction as follows “Hello, I am with Supwork”.

This is a guide to give you foreknowledge of what cleaning with Supwork entails. And how to go about it when you meet with a client. Here are some basic points to take note of.

How and where to clean: Clients will show you where you should clean and sometimes where not to clean. They should take you around the house and show you other places that need cleaning (if this isn’t the case, ask to be shown).

When they lay emphasis on certain areas, make sure you pay attention to those areas when cleaning. Note that the client handles the cleaning materials. With limited materials for cleaning. Make do with the available materials or ask for more if necessary. Also note that certain cleaning materials are specific for certain parts of the house. For example, you cannot use bleach on sensitive materials. Also, it is better you clean inside out, meaning you clean the rooms out, down to the entrance of the house. This also depends on the structure and arrangement of the house. Also, start by cleaning from top to bottom. i.e. by dusting fixtures like fans, shelves, tables, and also cleaning windows, wardrobe. If need be, glass, cabinets, etc before sweeping, vacuuming, or mopping.
