Notes Regarding Street Tree Transplanting:

Street tree must be set back from kerb line at a distance consistent with other street trees in the street.

Dig a moat around the tree and thoroughly soak the roots. Once the soil is soaked expose the main roots so they can be cut. Oncesurface roots are cut, sever any deeper roots.Mark the north side of the tree before moving it. Ensure it has the same orientation in the new hole. Once planted, thoroughly soak the rootball to remove air pockets. Apply a slow release fertiliserto top of ground surface.

The planting pit is to have roughened sides and a decompactedbase and be at least twice the width and depth of the rootball.

Install edging surround to individual street tree to match existing surrounds in street. Apply mulch as specified within tree surround ensuring mulch does not come into contact with tree stem.

Follow Planting Details and Specifications for all other considerations.
