Function To learn use I can/have expressions to describe abilities.
Objectives1. Ss learn action verbs using CAN & HAVE & make comparisons between superheroes and their abilities.
2. Learn action verbs. Group work. Basic level students create a superhero drawing. Adv level students create a superhero & present it as a group, using a choice of drawing, role-play, interview, etc...
Target language: swim, lift, fly, stretch, climb, punch, kick, run, change. Advanced students have superhero actions.

Ss watch videos and list superhero qualities or actions.
Students compare both heroes and list abilities and wardrobe.
Ss make a schedule for your superhero
Ss choose 2 superpower actions. Ss must find a match powers in order to have a power team.
Ss choose 3 powers, and must act them out. If another Ss guesses their power, they must give their power over to that Ss. Ss with the most superpowers is the greatest superhero.
In groups, basic level students create a superhero drawing; while advanced level students create their superhero and present it as a group, using a choice of drawing, role-play, interview,etc...6
