• Video games are sold in superstores like: Wal-Mart and Best Buy and Future Shop, even though they can be purchased in smaller stores that are only for video games, like Entertainment Overload, or EB Games.
Television’s
• There are specialty stores for TV’s everywhere, for example Gibby’s in St.Catherines, or Thomas Electronics, but yet TV’s are still sold in superstores, Like Wal-Mart and Future Shop
Clothing
• All kinds of brands of clothing are sold in specialty stores, Like American Eagle and Aeropostale, but super stores always have a section for their clothing brands.
Cell Phones
• There are specialty stores for cell phones, like Telus and Virgin Mobile, and Rogers, but super stores like Wal-Mart and Best Buy always have sections for cell phones at a cheaper price.
Apple Products
• Apple has stores where the “Apple” experts work and can answer ANY questions you have, but super stores like Best Buy and Future Shop have sections where they sell the same Apple Products.
Shoes
• There are tons of specialty shoe stores, like Payless or Footlocker, but superstores have very big sections to sell their own brand of shoes, these shoe sections are normally very big, and very affordable.
Sports Equipment
• Specialty stores like Family Sports, and Sylvestrie’s, and Cupolo’s sports, carry sports equipment like shoulder pads and mouth guards, and merchandise for your favorite team, but superstores like Dick’s Sporting good’s carry almost everything you can think of for a sport.
Jewelry
• There are tons of specialty stores that sell just jewelry, and lots of it, like Peoples and Swarovski Crystals, but super stores like Wal-Mart and Zellers sell jewelry, but not necessarily the same quality.
Books
• There are lots of specialty books stores, most are little shops like Our Book Store in Welland, but superstores like Wal-Mart and Zellers have sections to sell books as well, but there are also superstores that sell just books, like Chapters, which will have ten times as many books as a small shop.
