Summer internship is the integral part of M.S.W curriculum . We four students from AMU decided to do our internship in one of the India leading NGO i.e SRIJAN .We were placed in TONK district of Rajasthan. I was placed at DUNI.
Mr. JITENDRA KUMAR our team leader , who was a Dynamic personality, cooperative & supportive nature. Mr. JITENDER sir has given us internship topic & for this he was assigned me three different villages for the comparative study.
INTRODUCTION
SRIJAN means “an act”, or creation in Sanskrit. The full form of SRIJAN is, Self-Reliant Initiative through Joint Action. It has two sub- themes embedded in it – “self-reliance" and ‘joint action’.
SRIJAN is grass roots implementation and support. Agency committed to promote SUSTAINABLE and SELF-RELIANT models of rural development.
ABOUT THE SRIJAN
Journey of SRIJAN
• April, 1997: Initiated by few PRADAN colleagues
• Nov 2000: First project in Sagar District in MP funded through DPIP
Genesis
• Focused on NRM: started with Watershed Development
• Developed own framework of community institution formation
• Started intervention on livelihood
First Generation
• Focus on women led institutions working on sustainable livelihood models
• Build technical skills in Watershed , agriculture, dairy, livestock, community institutions, horticulture
Second Generation
Our assign project is Detailed base Line survey of 50 poor families, through analysis of this data we have to find which village is model village and which is not .Also find out the reasons and point of intervention
For this we chosen three village, take 17 sample of each village. we have to identify the model village.THIKARIYAKALYANPURAJOYTIPURA

AT LAST TO CONCLUDE I CAN SAY ON THE OF MY OBSRVATION & UNDERSTANDING OF VILLAGE THAT JYOTIPURA IS THE MODEL VILLAGE, OUT OF THE THREE DIFFERENT VILLAGES WHICH WAS ASSIGNED TO ME FOR THE STUDY. REST OF THE TWO VILLAGE NEED A PROPER & INTENSE APPROACH BOTH FROM GOVT & SRIJAN.
