The county town is world-famous for its magnificent castle and historic charm. As one of the most picturesque towns in Britain, Warwick has a relaxed atmosphere but also hosts a rich and diverse events programme including popular folk and literary festivals.

Bustling StreetsWarwick’s mainly independent businesses offer an enticing blend of the old and the new – from gift shops, antique centres and traditional tea rooms to trendy boutiques, art galleries and fine restaurants. Market Place is the heart of the town, hosting a variety of cafes, pubs and shops and a thriving market every Saturday. Swan Street is always a hive of activity and the town’s busiest shopping street. Smith Street is the oldest shopping street in Warwick and boasts a unique mix of independent shops and restaurants.

WARWiCK

Top AttractionsVisit Warwick Castle, Britain’s ultimate Castle, where you’ll be surrounded by jaw-dropping history, magic, myth and adventure! Nestled next to the imposing architecture of Warwick Castle, Warwick Racecourse retains its historic charm and character, and as one of the oldest in the country, it offers an excellent calendar of racing throughout the year.

There are many attractions and museums to visit in Warwick, beautiful parks and gardens and charming buildings of outstanding quality from every period of the last thousand years.

Places to VisitKenilworth Castle is a truly inspirational place, which has been further enhanced with the recent addition of the restored Elizabethan Gardens.

A short walk from the castle is the ruin of the Abbey of St Mary, which sits in Abbey Fields at the very centre of Kenilworth. Here you will find 68 acres of open space along with swimming pools, tennis courts, a lake and numerous nature trails.

Contemporary ShoppingTo the north of Abbey Fields is High Street, which has an array of beautiful listed buildings along with independent retailers, traditional pubs and fine dining.

To the south of Abbey Fields is Warwick Road and the recently revitalised Talisman Square, right in the centre of town, with its range of contemporary shops alongside well known high street names.
