The Student Success Center (SSC), adjacent to the Bell Center, is where you will find our Adult Continuing Education Program. We offer GED preparation [official GED testing site], Adult High School Diploma courses, English as a Second Language (ESL), EL Civics , tutoring, refresher courses in basic skills such as English and math, and a variety of computerized instructional

programs. Our assessment tools will pinpoint weak skill areas and provide instruction and self-paced practice. You don't need to be computer literate; our friendly staff will teach you all you need to know to take advantage of this learning experience. BASIC COLLEGE MATHEMATICS DE 300A can be taken in lieu of MATH 057 to meet the MATH 050 and MATH 045 prerequisite as long as it is successfully completed. The same content will be covered in DE 300A as is covered in MATH 057. DE 300A is offered to students at no cost, so it does not qualify for financial aid. Technological Literacy Matters at CMC! Online learning is not just for online or hybrid classes! Any class may be web enhanced. Many of our classes use Canvas and/or online sites such as MyMathLab, MyLab, MyProgrammingLab, or the textbook publisher’s website for assignments, testing, homework, etc. Check the information on your class registration for your course material needs which may require an access card in addition to your textbook.
