M ark Fendell, a driver at Bencardino Excavating, has been with the company for nearly four years. After getting his Commercial Driver’s License and deciding to leave the appliance industry, Mark joined the Bencardino crew and never looked back. When talking with him, one can really feel his sense of pride in his work with our company. Originally from Cheltenham, Pa., Mark now lives in the Eddington section of Bensalem, with his wife of 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoys working around the house and is most proud of his new awning and patio installation. “It’s a great place for cookouts with family and friends,” he says. A fan of Nascar, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is by far Mark’s favorite driver. We here at Bencardino Excavating know that Mark is a reliable guy and not afraid to get his hands dirty. His job as a driver requires him to go to various work sites and lend a helping hand when needed. The camaraderie among the staff is something he really appreciated as a “newbie” and is still one of the things he relishes. “I actually like to wake up and go to work in the morning,” Mark shares. He continues by saying, “other drivers and co-workers never hesitated to show me the ropes and I am still learning something new every day.” When asked what he would tell others who are new to the field or new at Bencardino Excavating, he says, “Give it your all. If you always strive to do that, it makes the day go faster and makes the boss happy.” Fall 2006 A Quarterly Publication of Bencardino Excavating, Inc. www.bencardino.com BENCARDINO’S LATEST DIRT SUMMER 2011 In this issue of our newsletter, Bencardino Excavating highlights one outstanding employee who has shown commitment and dedication to the company. Mark Fendell , a driver at Bencardino Excavating, has been with the company for nearly four years. After getting his

Commercial Driver’s License and deciding to leave the appliance industry, Mark joined the Bencardino crew and never looked back.

He continues by saying, “other drivers and co-workers never hesitated to show me the ropes and I am still learning something new every day.”

When asked what he would tell others who are new to the field or new at Bencardino Excavating, he says, “Give it your all. If you always strive to do that, it makes the day go faster and makes the boss happy.”

HOME DIRTBencardino Excavating recently purchased a W200 Wirtgen Milling machine to expand the company and break into the milling industry with a new division. The powerful, high-performance machine will allow the crew to remove large areas of pavement prepping the area for immediate repaving. The machine will also complement the company’s excavation division and allow for the company to mill for others while facilitating its own jobs.

overheardwhat our clients are saying about us.

“Through working with Bencardino Excavating on the Lower Bucks Public Safety Training Center project, I have noticed that the team works expeditiously to complete their work. They have been very proactive in their preparations regarding meeting with our local authorities throughout the planning process. In addition, the crew works well with other contractors on site and has made working on the project a true pleasure. ”
