The large scale construction projects that we are conducting on several continents are the result of the acceleration in the development of CLEIA.Our business model oriented towards customer satisfaction is the key to our success on quality, innovative and competitive plants for higher projects profitability..

CLEIA is present for large and ambitious construction projectsThe sales team of CLEIA recorded in recent months several major successes, obtaining the signature of contracts for major plant construction projects and now we must meet the expectations of our customers. For the success of these projects, we have significantly strengthened the operational structure of CLEIA. Our rational and very reactive organization guarantees to customers an optimal realization both technically and financially. In this CLEIA News 4, we present the progresses of these major projects in Algeria, Kurdistan, Tunisia and Belarus.

Success of our innovative concepts for brick and roof tile plantsOur 4.0 brick plant concept including innovations such as the Zephyr dryer and the Technofast kiln enables us to build scalable brick plants for customers who are keen to anticipate the progress and technological and environmental changes. Both by supporting the development of new building products and by offering innovative technologies to manufacture them.

For Hi-Tech roof tile plants, we realized over the last three years the most modern units in Europe. CLEIA has effectively implemented its R&D program for the reduction of energy consumption, according to our roof tile Platinum concept and the new dryer Energy ∆T reducing by nearly 15% the energy consumed in the drying process.

A strategic vision of the future-oriented companyOur R&D is also in the spotlight as a result of having obtained a new patent for our Deforcet kiln specifically designed to reduce the kiln's fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.

    Modernization of "Tuilerie Lambert"

SBMT2 brick plant acquires a new robotized palletizing

"Increasing the performance and reducing the hardship for operators through a modular setting with high accuracy"

"A low consumption and sustainable kiln 100% made up of refractory material"

The packaging of finished products at the SBMT2 brick plant of the Tedjini group is now carried out by a palletizing robot.

From the exit conveyor receiving the fired bricks, the robot sets the cross-layers to the 1,200x1,200mm format and also sets the bricks in the right position required for preparing the perforated layer.

Provided with deflectable fingers, the gripper automatically adjusts the bricks spacing, allowing

so the passage of the forklift's forks.

This new facility provides the customer Tedjini with full satisfaction by simplifying the circuit and making the production line more reliable with a packaging that meets the demands of the end users. With this success, the Tedjini group confirmed news orders for robotized facilities.

NEWMulticut DS Multi wire cutter NEWNEWMulticut DS Multi wire cutter Multicut DS Multi wire cutter

The new Multicut DS multi wire cutters are intended for the manufacture of facing bricks with the possibility to perform chamfering on 4 sides.

Our DS - Double Stage - technology allows a cut on two levels for a better distribution of stresses and thus a better quality of cut, allowing high accuracy in the bricks geometry.

The first level cuts the long lengths of clay slugs in 2 or 3 parts (along the width of the installed cutter) and the second level makes individual cuts.

Entirely designed by our engineering department, our cutters present many advantages that simplifyand improve quality settings:

    • Double cutting frame with automatic change

    • Automatic cleansing of wires in bottom position

    • Specific device holding the wires in position in case of crack

    • Accurate and individual adjustment of each chamfering roller

    • Motorized chamfering rollers

Wienerberger chooses CLEIA for its new kiln in the Achenheim brick plant To ensure the complete transformation of its old water sealed kiln into a sand sealed one, Wienerberger has selected CLEIA for the performances and energy savings of its kilns.

Several proven systems such as the combustion circuits supplied with hot air, the individual fans controlled by

speed controllers and the new device with dual exhaust, lead to substantial energy savings.

This new Tradisfast kiln will be entirely built with bricks and refractory components that allow optimal corrosion resistance.

"Tuilerie Lambert", located in the Charente region, manufactures canal roof tiles and a wide range of high quality accessories from 6 generations.

The new "U" cassette handling circuit and robotized roof tiles setting will be equipped with an automatic sorting system with vision. With a great flexibility of operation, this installation allows "Tuilerie Lambert" to perpetuate the manufacturing of premium products with state-of-the-art facilities.

CLEIA: Firing process and low-consumption kilns expertThanks to its latest successful projects and developments in energy management and firing processes, CLEIA can now claim a leading position in the engineering of process solutions i.e. energy savings.

For the Erlus AG clay roofing tile plant in Germany, CLEIA supplied a complete installation including a latest-generation Ecofast tunnel kiln, which achieves a major saving in energy consumption compared to the existing kilns on site.

In addition, CLEIA has developed and patented the Deforcet: a specific energy management process intended to save energy and reduce the volume of polluting exhaust gases from the tunnel kiln.

A few months ago, CLEIA received a major order from Wienerberger for the replacement of an old tunnel kiln in Achenheim (F) with a modern kiln incorporating the latest optimizations developed and designed by CLEIA.
