Also usually in keeping with the brand colours and identify the font style also sets the overall theme and concept the magazine is et in to attract the specific target audience. Strapline, is usually positioned beneath logo/masthead. It is also set in a different font to distinguish a difference between the masthead and the strapline.Font colours, Contrasting colours are used to create a bold appearance and to turn heads to attract readers. Help to stand out form other magazines on display and also help to create an overall tone of the magazine and my also be used to represent ideas such as seasons. Sell lines, are conventionally situated on the right hand side of the front cover showing the essential articles within the magazine. They can sometimes include a rhetorical question to establish a Hermeneutic Code. Therefore directing it more specifically to the reader individually. Additional images, are used to appeal to a wider audience who are seeking more information in order to fulfil their cognitive needs, they also intrigue the reader further by giving them visual representation of what is included in the magazine. The barcode, price and date is conventionally situated at the bottom left and the price is used to demonstrate the conventions of an upmarket magazine also gives a professional look , however if positioned in the wrong place then this can overtake from other parts of the cover. Layout, usually very simplistic to give a clear look so it is easy for audience to read and understand so attracts them quickly as they are able to understand what the magazine is instantly.

Subcategories/Subtitles are conventionally positioned around the page and they make it easier for the reader to navigate around the magazine.Title, is usually positioned at the top of the page and uses contrasting colours and capital letters to make it stand out form the other text and also is eye catching and distinctive to reader.Colours, normally continues theme from the house style colours to create flow and connection throughout the magazine. Advert or subscription, which would usually include different colors to the brand identity to make it stand out. It also encourages the reader to buy the next issue.The main image is usually associated with the main heading or a sell-line on the front cover.Page numbers, usually in a different font so they can be easily distinguished form the text so it is more convenient for the reader to navigate around the page itself..The title, of the main article may be paired with main image, usually set in a different font fro other part of texts, adds variety and creative land more interesting look to the page. Layout, smaller articles and sections of text usually form around the outside of the page and frame main images.

Layout, Large image sets the entire background to fully display clearly what the company is advertising.Colours, bright and sharp colours that are used to attract the reader and set the overall tone and theme of the page itself, they also create the theme to attract the specific target audience, e.g.. Light pastel colours used for a female audience , darker more chic used to attract an audience seeking modern and contemporary design. Text is minimal, very direct and blunt information to address the reader immediately , they know and can understand exactly what to expect instantly.Main picture, may use direct mode of address to establish a personal relationship between the reader and the person in the picture which encourages the reader to buy it.Font style, this reflects the themes of the advert also to create the flow from the text to sync with the same setting the image is trying to establish.
