EGCSEs - A Student
Perspective
•Help them produce a timetable and have a copy of it up at home.
– But be flexible to change as priorities change, discuss with your child how they would like to plan.
•Understand the pressure points
•Ask them what support or motivation they need
•Encourage early nights and down time away from study
•Help them gain a healthy balance, to not over work
•It actually helped when my mum took my phone off me when it hit a certain time at night.
•Communicate well with school - mentor!
