You could grow a sunflower, beans, grass seed, or any seeds you have from fruits or veggies you already have! A container garden makes a great first garden project. Fine Motor Math – Needed - Pipecleaners and beads Add beads to pipe cleaner loops and have your child write down the addition problem. For example, in the photo, they’d write, 3+1=4 and 3+2=5.

Variation: Have your child count out a certain number of beads and place on pipecleaners. Example: Say or print the number 9 and have them string 9 beads on their pipe cleaner.
