MEDITATION PROGRAMME ORGANISED BY OUR

SCHOOL-

will find yourself acting always from a center of peace.’’

MEDITATION practices are techniques that encourage and

develop concentration , clarity ,emotional positivity and calm

seeing of true nature of things among students. So by engaging with

a particular meditation practice our students learn the patterns

and habits of their mind. And by the practice we offer OUR students

means to cultivate new and more positive ways .

HEALTH DAY CELEBRATED ON 7th of April:

Universal health coverage is WHO’s number one goal . Key to

achieving it is ensuring that everyone can obtain the care they need

, when they need it , right in the heart of the community. So our

school celebrated health week with great zeal and zest by following

the theme “ UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE: EVERYONE ,

EVERYWHERE”. The health awareness week was observed under

the address and supervision of famous city Cardiologist Dr S.N

Srivastav.

FROM 15TH April to 17th April Three Days Book fair was Organized :

Like every year this year too with warm enthusiasm imbibed in our hearts we welcomed

the school book fair with numerous books comprising fiction,novels,study material etc.

The three day book fair helped the students to explore their world of knowledge .

SKIT ON CLEANLINESS AWARENESS

Cleanliness is Godliness . To promote impetus for planet Earth and console the detrimental

condition of our environment ,we organized a fantastic skit regarding cleanliness awareness . The

little champs of our school adorned the program under the supervision of our primary teachers

promoting the idea behind SWACCH BHARAT ABHIYAN.

SKIT ON GOOD HABITS

Procrastination dime a dozen a day is commonly observed among students these days.

Taking this central idea in mind the students performed an amazing skit on the famous

fable “ FIVE MINUTES PLEASE “. The skit displayed the importance of good idiosyncracies

to get them appended in our temparament.

EARTH DAY ON 22 APRIL :

International Mother” EARTH DAY 2019” was observed on Monday, April

22nd 2019 in ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL RANIKHET. Theme for the year

2019 is “ Proctect Our Species”. Our respected Madam MISS HEMLATA

PATHAK burnt candles at both ends to rejuvenate students for organizing

skits, programs,and essay writing competition .

NCC SELECTION FOR OUR FLYING COLOURS:

Our students of class 9th and onwards chose NATIONAL CADET CORPS on

their voluntary basis . The comradeship of our impeccable colors assist them

to lead their ways to Army ,Navy and Air Force . NCC is the world’s largest

organized youth program with the motto UNITY AND DISCIPLINE.

“AWES DAY” OBSERVED ON 29TH OF APRIL, 2019:

APS RANIKHET , celebrated “ Army Welfare Education Society (AWES)

Raising Day” with full enthusiasm and zeal . A number of programs were

organized to mark this occasion. The day begins with “ CROSS COUNTRY

RACE” . So the winners are …..

TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMME ( TTL) HELD ON DTED –

Two days teacher training programme was held in our school to update the teacher wih the

effective teaching tools. The programme assisted teachers to come across the perks of

EXTRAMARKS. They helped teachers to acknowledge the functions ,characteristics of

EXTRAMARKS for better and effective learning.

QUIZ COMPETITION AT RANIKHET CLUB

The knowledgeable students of class 12thRitik Chaturvedi , Manish Joshi, Vinay Kandpal

startled the competitiors with their impeccable knowledge regarding Politics, Bollywood,

General Studies etc. The quiz was sponsored by Pizza Hut , IDBI Bank , CARE SOCIETY

celebrating 150 years of Ranikhet. The chief guests wereCol.M.C.BHANDARIAND OUR

HONOURABLE PRINCIPAL KAMLESH JOSHI. Our students were awarded a cashprize of

rupees 500. It had been an indelible moment for our students.
