    Purpose of God s Word

    Psa 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and alight unto my path.

    2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,

    and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,for instruction in righteousness:

    2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect,throughly furnished unto all good works.

    O ur Attitude

    Psa 119: 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,and that seek him with the whole heart.

    Jer 2 9:1 2, 13 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shallgo and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And

    ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search forme with all your heart.

    Act 17:11 These were more noble than those inThessalonica, in that they received the word w ith all

    readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily,

    whether those things were so.

    Prayer for Understanding

    Luk 24 :4 5 Then opened he their understanding, thatthey might understand the scriptures,

    Psa 2 5:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thouart the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

    Psa 86:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I w ill walk inthy truth: unite my h eart to fear thy name.

    M a t 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and yeshall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

    Psa 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may beholdwondrous things out of thy law.
