Besides my interest in Aerospace, I have an interest in computer technology, business administration and entrepreneurship. During my leisure time, I surf the net, read news articles and magazines, blog, play video games, and play soccer. I applied to the Wichita State University’s TRIO Student Support Services as a tutor because I enjoy helping students realize their full academic potential. I love to help students adapt to college life and overcome any academic obstacle they face. As a tutor, I assisted students in Mathematics, Physics and Statics. I have always wanted to work on my leadership and interpersonal skills. I recently applied and was selected as the new Lead Tutor for Student Support Services. As the new lead tutor, I plan to serve as a mentor to my fellow tutors and students, I will also work with the SSS staff to ensure the smooth running of the tutoring program. FINANCIAL LITERACY

How Do I Create a Plan to Manage My Money for College? Navigating our way through college financially can be an even greater challenge than mastering our college coursework. Visit http://mycollegemoneyplan.org for college-specific financial advice and fundamental principles of money management, which include information on the importance of a bank account, monitoring credit reports, developing a spending plan, managing school loans and debt, and how to avoid identity theft. To fulfill your SSS financial literacy activity requirement, complete one of the worksheets on the website or one of the multiple-choice questionnaires. Ask the SSS Technology Lab Intern to sign the page in your SSS Student Handbook so you can earn credit towards your Gold Rewards. Submit it to your SSS academic adviser.
