My Australian bank account with a travel money card
Linh Tran
During my first few weeks I used a spread sheet to put all my finances and it was useful to see how much money I’ve spent during the week.
Linh Tran
My university didn’t provide a airport pickup/ buddy service.
Linh Tran
It was an information session that lasted only a few hours. All the exchange students sat in the theatre. There was traditional performances. They told us how to use the library, recommended places to visit and hang out, where to eat on campus and how to log into lms.

1. ____________________________________________________________________________________________

Linh Tran
All services were really good. The library was huge but easy to get lost. Wifi is everywhere on campus and it’s fast. Emailing is good.
Linh Tran
There are if you join the clubs but because I didn’t join the clubs. But just for exchange students there wasn’t much. 握
Linh Tran
At the start of the semester they tried to organised social events and also during the holiday seasons in Korea they
Linh Tran
did cultural events as well.
Linh Tran
There was campus housing. The depending whether you are in a single or double size vary. I lived in a double it was
Linh Tran
small but it was enough to move around. They provided a desk, bed, wardrobe, toilet and bathroom in the room. I was
Linh Tran
not on a meal plan or cook my own food. Cooking your own food was optional but I just went out to eat or buy
Linh Tran
food from the convenience store because it’s very cheap. The residence was on the east gate of campus so it was
Linh Tran
close to the main campus.
Linh Tran
Planning for which units to take because some units that they offered for exchange units wasn’t available so i had to 큩
Linh Tran
move around and see which ones fits for my course. Also getting my units approved took quite some time.
Linh Tran
Just have fun, you’re only there for a short while so make use of that time. Also, travel different parts of the country because
Linh Tran
Korea is quite small you can do weekend trips very easily.

I guess you get to meet people from different cultures. I have now got a group of friends that are covered every part
Linh Tran
of the world. I am glad I got to meet new people and became good friends. Also, I was scared because I was going to
Linh Tran
live with a roommate that I wouldn’t like her. However, in the end I didn’t regret my decision because I got along
Linh Tran
with her really quick (basically, when we saw each other). It was nice to see how the Korean education works
Linh Tran
however, with the fast pace they go through and the professors it wasn’t something that I didn’t enjoyed. It was
Linh Tran
manageable to go through the whole semester because I’ve survived it somehow.
