Structral Analysis

As this product is not intended for use by humans it is not under any additional stresses and forces other than dead load (gravity), water weight and wind. It be under dead weight force from about therefore must have sufficient strength to withstand this, which through the design and materials used will meet these requirements. The internal water and the flow of the water will exert a force upon the main component but this has been taken in to considera-tion in the design and to combat and unwanted stresses on the material the wall thickness of the component is thickened. Wind is a factor that will affect the product from all angles but only really affect it from the front, due to that having the largest surface area. To ensure the fountain doesn’t fall over or is unstable there is a base that is that having the largest surface area. To ensure the fountain doesn’t fall over or is unstable there is a base that is weighted to give it stability.
