Ignition key and Steering lock

①、Ignition key is ONTurn ignition key to ‘ ’, theignition system is connected, and key can not be moved.

②、Ignition key is OFFTurn ignition key to ‘ ’, theignition system is cut, and key can be moved.

Notice

When park the motorcycle, please lock the steering to prevent it from stealing.

Interruptor d'encesa i bloqueig de la direcció.

①, Clau d'encesa en ON. ’ Gireu la clau d'encesa 'la

clau no podrà ser retirada.

②、Clau d´encesa en OFF. ’Gireu la clau d'encesa 'la

clau podrà ser retirada.

③、Bloqueix de la direcció:Gireu la direcció cap a l'esquerra, s'enfonsi la clau i gireu cap a LOCK. La direcció quedés bloquejada i la clau d'encesa podrà ser retirada.

Fuel TankFuel tank capacity 18L.

①Fuel tank switch ON:When addthe fuel, insert the ignition key and turnclockwise 90°to open the fuel tank cap.

②Fuel tank OFF :Turn fuel tank capclockwise to screw down fuel tankcap.

CAUTION

Please use the petrol 95# or above to add fuel.

WARNING

*Gasoline is extremely flammable and highly explosive. Add fuel at a ventilated place with theengine stopped.*Do not smoke or allow open flame or spark nearthe work site.

Operation Controls

The clutch installed on this model is a manual and wet multiple. Hold the clutch hand lever to change gear shifting. If the clutch slipping or cannot fully disengaged, please have the motorcycle repaired by authorized dealer.

①Front brake lever controls front wheel speed.

②Rear brake pedal controls the rear wheel speed.

③Clutch lever changes output power of engine.

④Gear shift lever changes the motorcycle speed.

Comandaments de controll

L'embragatge instal·lat en aquest model és manual. Agafeu la maneta de l'embragatge per iniciar / aturar la moto o per canviar de marxes. Si l'embragatge no funciona correctament vagi al seu concessionari RIEJU autoritzat per a revisió.

②Palanca de fre posterior: controla la velocitat.

③Maneta d´ embragatge: acciona l´ embraguedel vehícucle.

④Palanca de canvi: selecciona la marxa delvehícle.

Load Distribution

Improper load distribution could have an impact on the performance and stability of the motorcycle.

Don’t hook the articles on the rear handle.

Don’t hook the articles on steering system.

Distribució de la càrrega

Una distribució de la càrrega incorrecta pot tenir un impacte en el rendiment i l'estabilitat de la motocicleta.

Check before and after ride

In order to keep the vehicle in a good working performance, please check, adjust and clean the vehicle before, during and after your ride.

*After washing the vehicle, start vehicle and runengine several minutes in idle.

*Check whether there is fuel leakage or air leakage.

*Check whether the connections loosen or not.

Check your motorcycle before ride to make sure it is in safe condition for riding.

①Turn on ignition switch and check the operationof instruments. If they can not work, check thereasons and solve the problems.

②Support the vehicle with main stand and check whether the fuel level is below the mark, if it isbelow the mark and add lubrication.

Comprovi abans i després d'un viatge

Per a la seva seguretat i tranquil·litat, és recomanable, fer un control de seguretat abans d'utilitzar el vehicle

*Després de rentar el vehicle el motor ha d'estar en repòs per uns minuts.* Renteu el vehicle, arrencada el motor i deixi-hoescalfar diversos minuts al ralentí.

* Reviseu les fuites de combustible i escapi de aire. Revisi la pèrdua de connexió.

Revisi la motocicleta abans de usar-la per assegurar-se que està en bones condicions de seguretat

①Giri la clau d'encesa i comprovi elfuncionament dels instruments

②Amb el motor fred posi el cavallet central aun espai pla i revisi el nivell oli, si està per

sota de la marca inferior, afegeixi oli.

③ Open the fuel cap and check the oil capacityand according to the distance, refill the fuel.

④ Check free stroke of clutch lever and it shouldbe 10mm-20mm.

⑤ Check the loose of connection of battery

⑥Check the throttle control grip for proper operationand clean throttle cable if necessary.

③ Obriu la tapa de combustible i comprovi il nivell de combustible.

④ El joc de la maneta d'embragatge, aquesta ha d'estar entre 10 mm-20 mm

⑤ Comproveu la connexió de la bateria.

Revisi el puny de l'accelerador per a un funcionam

ent adequat i netegi el cable de l'accelerador si

cal.

⑦ Check stroke of front brake level, and the stroke should be 10-20mm.

⑧ Check stroke of rear brake pedal, and the strokeshould be 20mm-30mm.

⑨ Check operation of steering system.

⑩ Check free stroke of transmission chain and it should be 15mm-25mm and lubricate it.

⑦ Revisi el joc de la palanca de fre

davantera el joc ha d'estar entre 10-20mm.

Revisi el joc del pedal de fre del darrere, i el ⑧

joc ha d'estar entre 20mm i 30mm

⑨ Revisi el funcionament del sistema de direcció

i lubricarla si cal.

Operation of Electrical Starter

Start the vehicle with electrical starter according to the following steps:

① Turn on the ignition key and check workingcondition of meter indicator. If the injec tion pumpmakes noise wait that the noise finish to start the bike.

② Check that the gear is on Neutral prosition ifnot, he vehicle is in gears and need to be started with electrical starter, hold the clutch lever tooperate it.

③ Check taht the sopt engine is on ON position.

④ Press electrical starter button is not necessari turn the grip throttle.

Arrencada elèctric

Arrencada del vehicle en els següents passos:

①Gireu la clau de contacte i revisi el correcte

funcionament del compte Km.Si la bomba d'injecció fa soroll esperi que aquest finalitzi per arrencar la moto.

②Verifiqui el la caixa de canvis es troba en

posició neutral, si necessiteu arrencar la moto amb una marxa posada pressiona la maneta d'embragatge.

③ Comproveu que el botó d'atur motor està en

posició d'encesa.

④ Premeu l'interruptor d'arrencada, no es

necessari girar l'accelerador.3

Operation of Gearshift

This model is non-continuous gearshift.Typical upshift range is(3000 ± 500)r/min. The transmission sequence is 1-0-2-3-4-5 or 5-4-3-2-0-1. Avoid vehicle sliding in neutral.

①When change the gear, firstly hold the clutchlever to disengage the clutch and step the gear shift lever to make engine in 1gear.

Maintenance during Break-in

Spark PlugSpark plug type: CPR8EA9Remove the spark plug and check: Disassemble the spark plug, if you find there is a gray deposit on spark plug, it means the engine is overheated. The condition may be caused by one or more of the following:* Incorrect spark plug. Please change to the

suitable spark plug.*Due to the friction of the components, the engineis overheated.

①Check the gap of spark plug electrode with a feeler gauge, and the adjustment will be 0.6mm～0.7mm.

②Side electrode.③The insulator of normal spark plug should be brown.Remove the spark plug, if the insulator of spark plug is brown, it means the engine works well and the spark plug is no problem.

CAUTION

Be careful not to damage the insulator when clean the spark plug. Do not use the fire and metal brush to remove the carbon deposits and debris.④Soak the spark plug in detergent or in petrol for30 minutes and then remove the carbon deposit with nonmetal brush; finally wash it with petrol.⑤Put gasket on the spark plug and insert into its position by hand and tighten it by a socket wrench.

PRECAUCIÓ

Aneu amb compte de no danyar l'aïllant quan es neteja la bugia. No utilitzeu el foc i el raspall de metall per treure els dipòsits de carbó i residus.

Maintenance of the Air Cleaner

The dusty blocked the air cleaner will cause a low power, high fuel consumption and black exhaust smoke. So clean the air cleaner periodically.

①First, dismantle right side cover and unscrew the fixing screw of air cleaner.

②Remove the core to check whether there is toomuch dust and change the core if necessary.

③Remove the core and blow off the dust on the core.

④Clean the inside of the filter box with a clean cloth.

CAUTION

Maintenance schedule of air cleaner should be shortened while riding at dirt area.

Filtre d´ Aire

Un filtre d'aire ple de pols i brut pot causar una disminució de la potència, més consum de combustible i un fum en la fuita de color negre. Així que cal netejar periòdicament el filtre d'aire.

①Desmuntar la tapa per accedir al filtre d'airedel vehicle.

②Traieu el filtre per revisar-lo, netejar-lo soplandoper eliminar la pols o canviar-ho si és necessari.

③Desmuntar la coberta lateral dreta i afluixar el cargol de fixació del filtre d'aire.

④Netegeu l'interior de la caixa del filtre amb un drap net.

PRECAUCIÓ

Maintenance of Brake

Maintain the brake as follows:

1.Check the brake oil level and if the brake oil in the lowest level, add brake oil (DOT3).

①Add brake oil if the oil level is less than scale.

②Stroke of brake lever is 10mm-20mm.

2.Check whether the brake oil cup has oil leakage or not.

3.Check the abrasion of front and rear brake disc.Replace brake disc if the abrasion limit value is less than 3mm.

③Abrasion limitation of front brake disc shouldbe 3mm, change if necessary.

Comproveu els següents punts en els frens

1.Revisi el nivell de líquid de frens (DOT3)

2.Reviseu les fugues de líquid de la bomba de fre.

3. Revisi el desgast del disc de fre davanter idel darrere. Substituïu el disc del fre si el valor límit de l'abrasió és menys de 3 mm.

③Limitació de l'abrasió del disc del fredavanter ha de ser de 3 mm, canviar si cal.

Chain MaintenanceThe chain maintenance includes:Inspection, lubrication, cleaning of the driving chain; check the free travel of the driving chain within prescribed range; check the wear of the driving chain and driving sprocket; adjust, clean and lubricate the driving chain periodically.

11BatteryThe battery is located under the left side cover of seat. The type of the battery is 12V7Ah. Check the following items of battery while you are riding 1000km to 3000km. For the battery maintenance, please operate as follows:

1.Check whether the battery can work or not.

2.Inspect whether the posi t ive and negativeterminals of the battery are loose or not .

3 .Charge the bat tery once a month i f i t wi l lnot be in use for a long t ime.

4.Check whether the electrolyte level is underthe mark or not. Add the electrolyte if the leveris lower than the lower mark.

①Check whether the battery terminals are tightor not. Tighten them if they are loose.

②Check whether the voltage of battery is at therange of 12V. Recharge the battery if the voltageis not enough.

③The battery discharge itself if it won’t be in usefor a long time. Charge the battery once a month.

BateríaLa bateria es troba sota de la coberta lateral esquerra del seient. La bateria no necessita manteniment i té una potència de 12V7Ah. Revisi els següents elements de la bateria, mentre viatja de 1.000 quilòmetres a 3000 quilòmetres.

FuseFuse is used in the electrical circuit to protect the battery and relevant electronic components from overload: these fuse are rated at 15 A and are placed near the battery.

①Check whether the fuse is burnt out whenelectric system is off. Replace if necessary.

CAUTION

When the fuse burns out go to a official Rieju dealer. Always replace fuses with fuses of the same amp rating.

Horn

Periodically check horn operation, and make sure it is firmly affixed and not touching other items on the motorcycle.

FusiblesEls fusibles s'utilitza en el circuit elèctric per protegir la bateria i els components electrònics rellevants de la sobrecàrrega: Aquests fusibles té una potència de 15 A i estan situats al costat de la bateria.

①Revisi quan el fusible es cremi, quan el sistema elèctric aquest apagat. Substituïu si cal.

PRECAUCIO

quan el fusible es crema acudeixi a un concessionari oficial RIEJU. Substituïu sempre els fusibles per fusibles del mateix amperatge.

Clàxon

Revisi periòdicament el funcionament del clàxon, i assegureu-vos que està fermament adherit i sense tocar altres parts.

Extended Storage

If the vehicle will be out of service longer than 30 days, prepare the vehicle for storage as follows:

-Drain fuel from fuel tank.

-Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dark and dry room. Slowlycharge the battery once a month.

-Clean and dry the vehicle and. Apply a light film of wax or antirust oil on the painted or chrome surface.

-Adjust the tire to proper inflation pressure and support bike with tires offthe ground.

-Cover the vehicle and store it in a clean, dry location where is out offlammable goods or chemical corrosion products.

Return to service

1.Clean the bike and replace the engine oil if stored for more than 4months.

2.Check the battery and use it after recharging if necessary.

3.Clean fuel tank and add new fuel.

4.Check the vehicle completely before ride

Emmagatzematge Prolongat

Si el vehicle va a estar fora de servei més de 30 dies, preparar el vehicle per a l'emmagatzematge de la següent manera:

-Vaciar el combustible del dipòsit de combustible.

-Traieu la bateria i guardi-la en un lloc fresc, fosc i sec. Lentament

carregui la bateria un cop al mes

- Netegeu el vehicle i assequi'l. Apliqui una lleugera capa de cera o oli antioxidant en la superfície pintada o cromada

- Ajust el pneumàtic a la pressió d'inflació adequada i doni suport a la motocicleta amb les rodes del sòl.

-Almacene el vehicle en un lloc net i sec.

Tornar a funcionar

1.Netegeu la moto i reemplaci l'oli del motor si s'ha emmagatzemat permés de 4 mesos

2.Revisi l'estat del bacteri i recárguela segons sigui necessari.

3.Netegeu el dipòsit de combustible i afegiu nou combustible.

4.Revisi el vehicle per completi abans de posar-ho a funcionar.
