Definition:

one's belief in one's ability to succeed in specific situations or accomplish a task.

How is it portrayed ?• Although Jean is not a

good student he still work hard.

• He Believes in himself that he can eventually do well in his projects.

• He has confident and courage which his classmates do not have.

Conclusion: Jean is a person with high self-efficacy as he still believe in himself and be confident that he will get a good results.

Definition:

values, attitudes, and behaviours.

How is it portrayed ?• Amelisa helped Rachel to

refuse Jean request to get her phone number.

• She thought that Rachel will share the same idea as her

• However, Rachel disagreed with her. Amelisa’s assume is incorrect.

Conclusion: False consensus effect can be seen in this part as Amelisa assumed that Rachel and her shared the same opinion, but in fact they did not.

Definition:Characterised by the intense longing for one’s partner. It

is thrilling and full of roller-coaster emotions. It also often occurs in the beginning of a relationship.

How is it portrayed ?• Jean and Rachel started to

build a strong relationship and they are in love with each other.

• They share the same opinion, emotions and feelings.

• They encounter problems together and look forward to the future.

Conclusion: A strong passionate love can be seen between Jean and Rachel as they are deeply in love and wish to be together forever.

Definition:An over generalized belief about a particular group or class of people where it is a common phenomenon which is assuming that all members of a group shares a common feature.

How is it portrayed ?• The lecturer assumed that

Jean is a bad student and for him, a bad student will not get a good result.

• He thinks that Jean cheated in his exam to get a good result.

• However, the lecturer change his mind set as Rachel helped to prove Jean innocent.

Conclusion: The lecturer has stereotype towards the students who thinks is bad. So, he immediately thinks that Jean cheated in the exam as he got a good result because he thinks that Jean in not a good student.

Hostile aggression

Definition:An act of aggression stemming from feelings of anger and aimed at inflicting pain. It is a type of aggression driven by anger and performed as an end in itself.

How is it portrayed ?• Jean and Rachel has a fight

in the car while Jean in driving.

• Jean was too angry as he lost his control and an accident happened.

• This had caused the death of Rachel and Jean felt very regret and depressed after the incident.

Conclusion: Hostile aggression caused Jean to lost control and the accident happened. This sudden aggressive emotion had caused the death of Rachel and the sadness of Jean.
