A step ahead thanks to pioneering technologies
Continuously shrinking tolerances and increasing demand
on performance call for solutions adapted for thermal
stability and to the Spindle cooling systems. Our engineers
have accepted that challenge and, today, we offer
innovative, unique solutions: OptiCool and CoolCore.
Step-Tec’s OptiCool Spindle series ensures not only that
the Spindle remains thermally stable, but that natural
heat transfer to the Spindle support (e.g., Z-Axis) is limited
to the lowest amount possible, in order to preserve the
machine’s geometry.
Where conventional stator cooling reaches its limits,
Step-Tec’s CoolCore Spindle goes beyond the ordinary to
lower the temperature and minimize temperature fluctu-
ations in the rotating shaft.
