Authorized Dealers / Agents for supply, installation and commissioning of Fitness Equipments /
Gymnasium Equipments (Cardio, Strength, Free Weight section and Accessories) at State Bank
Institute of Management (SBIM) at Plot No. IIF/2 in Action Area II, New Town, Rajarhat,
Kolkata, West Bengal. Reverse Auction will be done after Tendering Process.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL THE APPLICANTS
1. Intending applicants are required to submit their applications with full bio-data giving details about their organization, experience, technical personnel in their organization,
competence and adequate evidence of their financial standing etc. in the enclosed form which
will be kept confidential.
2. Decision of the Bank in regard to selection of Firms/Organizations will be final. The Bank is
not bound to assign any reason for acceptance/ rejection of any applications.
3. Each page of the application shall be signed. The application shall be signed by persons/
persons on behalf of the organization having necessary authorization/ Power of Attorney to
do so (Certified copies to be enclosed).
4. If the space in the performa is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on separate sheets of paper, stating therein the part of the performa and
serial number. Separate sheets shall be used for each part. However, the format shall be as per
performa.
5. Applications containing false, incomplete and/or inadequate information are liable to be
rejected. Also mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection.
6. While filling up the application, clarification, if any, may be obtained from the office of
AGM (P&E), State Bank of India, 9th Floor, Local Head Office, Kolkata. 7. Applicants shall have to deposit a non-interest bearing amount as ‘Security Deposit’ as
decided by the Bank.
8. Canvassing in any form in connection with selection is strictly prohibited and the
application of such persons/organizations who resort to canvassing will be liable to rejection.
9. Bank is not responsible for the late receipt/ non receipt due to postal delay, strikes or any
other reasons.

commissioning of Fitness Equipments / Gymnasium Equipments (Cardio, Strength, Free Weight
section and Accessories) for State Bank Institute of Management, at New Town, Rajarhat, West
Bengal. Details of tenders are as under :

Undertaking to be given that bidders will be supplying materials from the following Brands
only : Techno Gym / Precor/ Matrix / Life Fitness / Cybex
Cover - II : Shall contain the offered price with the tender documents duly filled, in
duplicate. No other condition stipulated in Cover-II other than unconditional
general rebate shall be accepted.
16. Cover-I will be opened on 16.08.2017 at 1.30 hours in the presence of Tenderers who desire
to attend. The Bidders who will be found eligible after pre qualification, the bids will be
opened (Cover-II of the eligible bidders) soon after. After examining the Price Bids,
indicative price of the L-1 Bidder among the eligible bidders shall be fixed as start bid price
for Reverse Auction. Thereafter, an appropriate Decrement Value shall be fixed based on
the indicative prices submitted by the eligible bidders under cover-II.
Reverse Auction will commence after one hour, once the decremental value is fixed.
If it is observed that the indicative prices submitted by the Pre-qualified Bidders are
exorbitantly high, the indicative prices thus received may not necessarily form the basis for
deciding the start bid price and decrement value. In such occurrence, the start bid price
and decrement value shall be fixed based on realistic estimates on the basis of prevailing
market rates, prior procurements, etc of the similar items. The Bank will at its sole discretion
decide the start bid price and detrimental value.
The Reverse Auction will be scheduled for a fixed time period of 30 minutes from its
commencements, with 06 (six) number of extensions of 5 (five) minutes each if required.
