Given the mission and vision of this new online school for religious liberty, the Religious Freedom Center is

seeking a part-time graphic designer. The graphic designer will work primarily with learning management

systems and content management systems. Thus, the proposed title will be “education designer.”

The education designer will work with a team of faculty and experts to design educational graphics on

the learning management system and work with a team of people in managing content on the center’s

WordPress website and event app. The education designer will work closely with the faculty and the

education producer to integrate graphics into instructional videos. All staff will work closely with

professionals in the marketing and broadcasting departments to uphold brand and style standards. The

educational designer will also serve as technical support for students and teachers for the learning

management system and event app. Please note the team-based approach to these design tasks.

LEARNING MANAGEMENT

The center will be using HaikuLearning to teach online courses for graduate students. Please indicate below

whether you are familiar with managing content on Haiku or a similar distance education/learning

management (LMS) system, such as EDx, Coursera, Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai, Canvass, Instructure, Adobe

Captivate 9, Jenzabar, Angel Learning, or other similar platforms. Please indicate below level of expertise

with using an LMS to create online educational experiences.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT

In order to manage onsite learning experiences, the education designer will use WordPress to manage

content on the center's website, Cvent as the event management system, and CrowdCompass to create the

mobile app. These systems are similar to other content management systems such as Joomla, Drupal, and
