This particular example is the i; sub-sub-standard code under the D sub-standard, under the 4th standard, under the Reading Foundation anchor standard in fourth grade Language Arts.
Grade = for PK-8 and the high school ELA standards, this indicates the grade level. For high school math standards, it indicates the course e.g. A1 = algebra 1.Anchor Standard = this alpha-numeric code indicates the broad area of the grade or course subject. See the charts on the back to translate the anchor codes. Physical Education only has one anchor code and that is PE.Standard = this numeric code indicates the subcategory for the anchor standard.
