COURSE OBJECTIVES The main objective is to provide all engineers involved in process safety using-defining-designing-maintaining and operating safety instrumented systems the opportunity to learn the 29 specific items that a SIS-Safety Instrumented System SHALL include and describe as applicable according to the normative requirements (10.3.2 – IEC61511:2016 part 1) A second objective is for all those engineers programming a safety PLC program, to learn what a AP-Application Program SRS SHALL be considered to describe with another 18 specific items according to the normative requirements (10.3.5 – IEC61511:2016 part 1)
